A great solution
Works exactly as described. Study a little bit about optimal placement in your setup. If this is placed correctly, it is very reliable. I'm using mine with powered speakers placed over 100 ft from the mixer, a common "noise" situation. Placed these at the speaker inputs and the noise is totally eliminated. No more angry pastors, brides, or keynote speakers staring at me to do something.

Didn't work, NOT returnable at Amazon
Did not work for me. No effect at all in eliminating hum in my audio. If you want to take a chance on one of these, DON'T purchase from Amazon. They will not accept a return.

Does its job.
Removed an annoying buzz from my amp. Really good price compared to how expensive some of these get. Its high quality, and wont easily fall out of your amp. Really good connection. All you have to do is plug it in and you’re set. It is a bit bulky and tall but shouldn’t affect anything.

I will happily give it 5 stars
I recently purchases a USB audio interface for my computer (upgrading from Firewire which has become obsolete, but the old Firewire interface had no problems with noise/hum). With the USB interface, I was getting a noticeable noisy/fluttery sound out of my subwoofer that made it impossible to mix & master audio properly. I thought the device was defective, returned it, got a new one, and had the same problem. Customer support for the audio interface suggested this product. I was skeptical but it completely fixed my problem. The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is some customers are saying it breaks after a while, and I've only had it a week. If this solution lasts in the long term, I will happily give it 5 stars.

Worked well, wired correctly, made things better not worse
I want to counter some of the bad reviews I see on Amazon, because this did just what we needed it to do. We have connected a social hall sound system to and from Zoom so that we can host hybrid meetings. This caused a constant low-level noise to be heard in the hall. We ascribe that to a ground loop, which we broke by inserting this device into one of the connection runs (sound system output to Zoom microphone input, to be precise). The noise is gone now. FYI we are using a Micolindun external sound card USB hub and an HP laptop to run Zoom.

WIRED IMPROPERLY, DO NOT BUY!!
I am VERY disappointed with this product. I bought two of these to use for my studio monitors when trying to debug ground loops, and discovered way too many problems for such a simple product: == Wired incorrectly == First and foremost, this "ground lift" adapter doesn't even lift the ground... The metal housing is electrically connected to the housing of each each end via the screws on either side. This would be less of a problem if it weren't for the fact that the connector housing ground is connected to the ground *pin* on both sides. What does that mean? This is just a M to F XLR coupler. Which XLR cables never need. What. I fixed this by opening them up, and de-soldering the wire that connects the ground pin to the connector housing. This was not a single mistake; BOTH units had this issue. Unless this is fixed, these are nothing more than a placebo. == Quality Control == Not to be confused with durability. I had two major issues: 1. One of the units had a receded pin on the male side. This didn't always contact, which made it seem like one of my studio monitors was flaky. I had to get needle nose pliers to pull it "out" further so it would properly contact. I don't have pictures of this one. 2. I've attached a picture of the internal plastic on the male side of both units. As you can see, one is clearly cracked. At the end of the day, there's no way I could recommend this product to anyone. It is a poor quality piece of equipment that isn't even wired properly to do its job.

Saved the Day!
Bought an expensive Adam subwoofer for studio monitoring, and it was completely useless because upon first time plugging it in it had humming and a pulsating. And despite using a furman power conditioner and trying various fixes, nothing worked. I ordered this as a test, and IT WORKED immediately and it’s still connected. Amazing product! How is it not $40 or $80 like all others? Good job Hosa on providing a solution for everyone.

I had my doubts about this product since reviews aren't stellar. Also everyone who used this probably have different microphones and interfaces so results might differ. Bought this as my Shure mic was having electric interference from my led light strip stuck to the edge of my table. Noise was instantly eliminated after plugging this in between my mic and goxlr.
