Must-Have for Wet and Cold Conditions – Kept Their Feet Dry & Comfortable!
I purchased these waterproof socks for my husband and two sons before they went hiking in a rainforest, and they were so glad to have them! They kept their feet completely dry and warm, even in wet and muddy conditions. Unlike other waterproof socks that can feel stiff or bulky, these were surprisingly comfortable. Not only did they perform well, but they fit well and also looked good. If you’re planning any outdoor adventures in wet or cold environments—whether it’s hiking, skiing, or wading through streams—these socks are a game-changer. Highly recommend!

Breathable and keep your feet dry.
Had ordered these for my sons and ordered a pair for myself. They are great. Very comfortable. Feet stay dry and they breath. Walked all day at Disneyland no complaints!

Comfortable. Breathable. Inexpensive. Waterproof!
So far so good. I wore them on a recent 15-mile, 2 day and 1 night trip with several water crossings and cold temperatures and they worked well. I wore these inside of my non-waterproof trail runners. The socks have an inner lining but I suggest wearing a pair of ultra-thin socks inside of these not just to control moisture but to protect your feet from the seam that is sewn into the bottom of the liner that just happened to hit right on the balls of my feet. This seam while noticeable never became an issue. The warmest temperature we saw during the trip was 50 degrees. I generally have pretty sweaty feet but never had any moisture issues while wearing the socks so they seem to be fairly breathable but that is just a relative term when it comes to waterproof items. I probably wouldn't want to wear them in temperatures much above 60 degrees but at that point, for my purpose, I wouldn't be wearing them anyways. I also wore these in my sleeping bag and they did a good job of keeping my feet warm during the night. Overall, I am very happy with the socks especially for the price. Fit might be just a bit large but hardly worth mentioning. The only unknown at this point is durability but they seemed to hold up well after the first trip. If they hold up after the next few trips I will be buying another pair.

Dry Feetsies
I was skeptical, but they really are waterproof. I wear Olukai Flip-Flops 360 days of the year (weddings, fancy functions excluded). In winter I wear Injinji toe-socks under for warmth. Yes, I have feet that do not like shoes. However, it's always a challenge in the rain. Using those clear shoe rain covers is annoying, soooo . . . Ordered these socks in a larger size so I could pull between my toes. Viola, problem solved, mostly. Not a perfect solution, but until they have these in a toe-sock version at least my feet are DRY!! My husband tried them and he's getting a pair, too. (He wears shoes, lol)

Amazing!!!!
I am in the military and when we have field training these socks have saved me. Especially in the spring, our training tends to have us training in the rain and muddy areas. Feet get cold and wet quickly and many of us change out our socks and use foot powder regularly. I bought these socks which I have to wear uniform socks with and my feet have never been happier. The most warm and dry my feet have ever been! Keep in mind that because these are waterproof, they do trap water inside the sock. That means, water will not get into the sock but if your feet sweat, the sweat will be trapped and collect in the sock. I found wearing another sock in side these to be extremely helpful to limit this for the other sock will help absorb the sweat. Also, when washing the sock, it is better to wash them inside out and then hang dry but it will take a hot minute for them to dry once wet. Worth the money and I want multiple pairs! Also great for hiking and just winter and rainy days.

Nice fit, worked great in water, no blisters.
I got these for a canyon hike where we crossed the river/stream a couple hundred times and walked in the water for a couple miles over several days. I ended up wearing the same pair of these socks every day and they worked great. At times, the water was over the top of the sock and these socks did not keep my feet totally dry, but they worked well, dried fast, and caused no blisters. Others in the same group liked these better for this type of hike than pure wool, just because they seemed to drain the water faster during the hike. We all agreed that this is likely the only type of hike we will wear these socks for, but they worked great.

Do not last....even through two uses
I'm writing this review to report on both the new pair of these socks I just purchased and the same socks I purchased in 2021 for which I can no longer review despite the company still selling these SAME socks. First let's start with the Old Pair. The old pair were initially waterproof. Cool! I used them on various canoe, camping and hunting trips. They remained waterproof for the first year and into the second season of use. Then I wore them on a hunting trip when it rained a lot and they failed completely. I tested by turning them inside out and filling with water. One dripped from the toe and the other gushed water from the heal. It appears the membrane material in these socks is not very durable. Normal wear and tear will damage the membrane rendering them just sweat bucket socks which allow in water and make your feet wet and cold. Now I cannot verify that I cared for these socks properly as I believe they may have gone through the dryer with the other socks, so I decided to give them another chance.. DO NOT DRY THESE SOCKS IN THE DRYER. This pair of socks is now in the trash! New Pair - They appear waterproof out of the package, I turned them inside out and filled with water and they do not leak. I see some people have had leaking problems out of the package. I'd would highly advise testing these immediately after purchase at your kitchen sink, or you might not be able to return them by the time you test them in the field. One thing I noted, and this caused me to deduct a star on the rating. The cuffs have ZERO waterproofing, unlike other more prominent brands with the words seal and skins in their name. If you go in water up to or near the cuff of these socks, the water will wick to the cuff and right down inside the sock. This is a very poor design making these socks NOT WATERPROOF since the cuff is part of the sock. Just be aware you cannot go in water much over your ankle with the socks. Note - I've a pair of the other brand which are now 5 years old and they still do not leak. Also, I could not find any warranty other than the normal Amazon 30 day warranty. Having said all this, I am going to give this new pair the benefit of the doubt and try them this season making sure not to ever toss them in the dryer. I'll report back later on this review, assuming Amazon allows me to. FYI - I'm a part-time canoe review guide and spend a lot of time trying to keep my feet dry. Update 4/28/2024 - Changing these to a 1 star review. Would assign zero star if possible. After first use they leak. At first I thought they only became wet inside because I happened to step in water to the cuff on the sock. Because the cuff is not waterproof, if you get it wet it wicks inside the sock. Terrible design. So I dried the socks in the sun, both inside and out and tried them again. They leaked immediately in ankle deep water. Of course I'm outside the 30 day Amazon return window. So I'll have to eat the cost of these garbage socks. At least the old pair stayed waterproof for almost a year. They've changed something in the design or quality. I would not recommend!
