Very Poor Design. This Pillow is a Major Dissapointment... Would Not Buy Again
While this pillow is indeed decently comfortable after some alterations (only reason I gave it two stars), I have several big complaints about it.First, it is most definitely NOT "shredded" memory foam in the traditional sense (i.e. lots of small chunks of memory foam that are easily moved around). The foam pieces, which are very firm, are packed so tightly in the pillow that they are not able to be molded or shaped at all like a down pillow or traditional shredded memory foam pillow. This was definitely a huge disappointment since that was the whole reason I purchased this particular pillow in the first place.Second, the pillow casing has zero flexibility. The fabric and seams on my pillow were so tight that if you tried to change the curvature of the pillow at all, it ripped the fabric. Even getting in and out of the pillow was a serious challenge to accomplish without hearing that sickening ripping sound, let alone trying to roll over or change positions... And I am neither a large person nor someone who is inflexible. I eventually just ended up completely removing the pillow case fabric and putting a couple body pillow cases over it because I was so frustrated by the poor design.Third, the pillow is extremely narrow... Only about 6 inches wide or about half of what a traditional body pillow is. Depending on how you sleep, this narrowness can actually make it rather uncomfortable, especially for your legs. I tend to curl one leg up over the top of the pillow and keep the other leg straight while laying on my side. Because of how thin the pillow is, it makes my legs/hips lay at an awkward angle that is rather uncomfortable. And because of the firmness of the foam and lack of flexibility in the pillow case, there is very little you can do to compensate for this (without first removing the casing). Finally, this pillow is NOT designed for tall people. I am only about 5'6" on a good day and even I barely fit inside the curvature of the pillow. (And before I took off the casing, it honestly wasn't really that comfortable even for me as the overly tight seams would often dig into my should or legs when I tried to adjust positions.) So, if you are taller than 5'6", I would definitely not reccomend you get this product.I had very high hopes for this pillow because I love memory foam products. (Sleep on a memory foam bed and have been using traditional memory foam pillows for a looooong time.) So what could be better when you're pregnant than a memory foam maternity pillow, right? But this pillow really falls short, in my opinion. It is the first and only memory foam product that has ever disappointed me. If I had it to do over, I would definitely not spend my money on this product. Very, very disappointing. On a positive note, though, the company did allow me to return the product (even despite the damage to the pillow case) for a full refund. So, kudos to them for good customer service. Just hope they will make some design changes to improve this product and spare other customers from the disappointment I experienced.

Very comfortable, but case is very scratchy.
So, first off, I didn't buy this pillow for pregnancy at all, so I can't judge how good it is for that. That said, I'm a 'nest' sleeper, and like to have pillows and blankets against my back, and a pillow to cuddle with. A lot of body pillows, unfortunately, just aren't firm enough and tend to be very flat when you use them. This one, however, being made of a more solid memory foam is much firmer, and the shape of it gives me both something against my back and something to snuggle with. The head pillow part is also nicely positioned, providing the perfect supporting height for your head if you are a side sleeper. It's also very comfortable to use for back sleeping, and keeps your knees just slightly bent in a way that I've found most comfortable when I sleep on my back.It was a bit smaller then I had expected, based on the pictue, and they must have used someone very small as I am 5'10 and definently can't fit on it like the chick in the picture can. However, the measurements are entirely accurate, so that's not the fault of the seller or the product. But I would definentally recommend looking at a ruler to get a better idea of the size of this pillow, particularly if you are someone in the 5'6'' + range, as it -may- not quite be what you expected. The one thing I had to take a star off for, however, is the pillow case. It is -extremely- scratchy and uncomfortable. Had I realized this when I bought it, I would have spent $10 more on the one that comes with the grey velvet case. I would highly reccomend washing the case that comes with it with some good softener a time or two before using it.

Better pillow than other body pillows.
I'm giving this four stars, despite the pillowcase tearing pretty much immediately (because it's fitted on a pillow with such a shape), because it is the first body pillow I've owned in 20 years that seems like it will hold up. I also have lumbar problems now, so I was hoping to find one that would help with not just the comfort of having a body pillow. However, it's firm and doesn't seem like it'll easily go flat since it is memory foam. That said, it's shredded memory foam, so it's not like I haven't noticed some shift already. The pillow isn't big around enough to help with the lumbar problem, so I have to use a standard size memory foam pillow on top between my knees, but at least it's not sinking underneath. A bit difficult to get used to since you wear it, and if you try not to use the top as your head pillow, you wake up with very painful ribs. Best I think I've had, though... so I guess it's a success. I've only had it a couple weeks as of yet, however.

Room to improve
You'll get to a point in your pregnancy where a pillow like this is essential for sleeping. This was the best one I found, but still not perfect. The regular pillows I bought went completely flat in the knee area after a about month, making them completely useless. This one flattened out as well, but it still has a little foam left there, and took longer to decay. I'm not crazy about the C shape, its constrictive to sleep in and makes turning over a real chore. I found the candy cane shaped pillows easier to sleep with. So, this was pillow was best of the worst....it sure beats nothing, and was good for about 2 months.

... pillow is not long enough to support my legs comfortably unless I want to be tucked into a tight ...
I am 5'8" and this pillow is not long enough to support my legs comfortably unless I want to be tucked into a tight fetal position which is not comfortable or possible at a late stage of pregnancy. I will be buying another shredded memory foam pillow, but wit will be just a regular long body pillow instead. This pillow is nice and dense with out being too heavy like most memory foam pillows. It feels like it would retain it's shape and loft even with regular use, but I don't actually know since I am returning it after using for just one night.
