***UPDATE*** 1 year later the chair is still holding up great...except my hydraulic gave out. Probably from 12 months of plopping down on it. Ordered a replacement heavy duty hydraulic (450lbs) for $13 and looking forward to many more years of use from this guyI did a little research and was slightly aware that this may be a knock off but I have no complaints if it is. I am 6'3 and 225lbs with a heavier athletic build and this is a god send. I used my roommates DXRacer while he was home this summer and I decided I am never going back to a simple office chair. I did some research and set my budget to $200 and I was fully aware this would not get me a big name chair like DXRacer. I found this bad boy and fell in love with the color scheme and saw that it is actually a larger chair and decided to take a gamble on cheap gaming chair. I have had it over a month and I am very satisfied and impressed. The foam is very sturdy but still plush enough to be painless after 4 hours of sitting. I have yet to have any tailbone or back pain since using this chair and have used it some days for over 7 hours. Also, note to purchasers, out of the box I was like holy crap this is a big chair, but it fits me perfectly! Maybe I am bigger than I perceive myself but I was slightly concerned while unboxing that it was going to be too big, but it is perfect for individuals in the 6'0 to 6'5 range and basically anyone over 200lbs. The chair is very easy to assemble and i love love love the white/red variant. Materials and overall product feel quality made and sturdy. I do wish it had leg rest for kicking back to watch movies but for the price I think it is the best chair on Amazon. It has a nice bucket seat that is not too narrow like I found the DXRacer to be, so I do not feel like I am getting pinched in the seat. Also the seat itself is large enough to give your legs wiggle room but still maintain support. Only complaint is I wish the chair had a slightly larger wheel base as being a heavier guy when I lean back all the way and put my feet on my desk, I can tell that I am a mere few pounds from sending it backwards. But since I am aware of it, there is not much issue. Overall a great chair for being my first gaming chair. I don't see a reason to get anything newer or nicer as this does exactly as I expected. Comfortable sitting for long hours with good and silent mobility.

My husband asked me to write this review because he loves this chair! I wanted to get him a better gaming chair, since he sat on our cheap one so much, that the padding declined and the chair structure became wonky. So I took a leap with this chair, since many gaming chairs on Amazon are averaging 3 stars, and/or not enough reviews.It was very easy to assemble (he doesn't have a large history of assembling things), the butt padding is adequate for his 200 pound frame, and the back rest encourages good posture, but it easily allows reclining, and it feels very stable when you lean back.Perhaps I shot myself in the foot when I bought his this chair because he doesn't want to leave it, and it encourages his gaming addiction.

When I ordered this chair I was very excited for it. It looks Beautiful but that's where the positives end. Even though its rated for a high weight capacity you have to be a very petite person to use it. When it came I discovered the seat was very small and uncomfortable. You basically have to sit with your knees together or it will dig into and hurt your thighs.It was also missing some of the screws required to attach the back rest to the seat. That wasn't much of an issue though because the company sent them out no charge. Was slightly annoying it took over a week to receive them.I have owned the chair for 10 months now but it didn't see any use at all for the first two between the missing screws and seat before I modified the seat to make it comfortable for an adult male to use it. A few weeks ago the arm rests started falling apart, they are made if a cheap foam that is cracking and crumbling. The leather on the seat is also cracking and starting to peel. If you are looking for a product that will last, I highly suggest you find something else.

Being 5'11" and weighing at 300 lbs. this chair fits my needs. Only quirp is that the gas lift seems to be dying at times. Will randomly start to drop slowly but isn't completely broken. Maybe add part numbers so that repairs can be made.

Paid $160 for this chair and so far so good. Had a weird issue when I first put together, the locking mechanism wouldn't work, so the back of the chair just rocked back and forth. but after moving lever back and forth a bunch the lock started working. Pretty easy to put together. Looks and feels as good as chairs I've bought in the $200+ price range and this chair has a higher weight capacity then most other chairs.

Chair is rated for 400 lbs, I’m nowhere near that big. Back piece bent backward and cracked mechanism the first time I leaned back. Not at all what I thought it was going to be. They also don’t seem interested in refunding my money. I’m trying to get them to refund but they are dragging their feet.

Everything about this chair is awesome.It's very comfortable and the seat is the perfect width - I don't feel like my legs are being pushed together. It took me about 20 minutes to put it together by myself. Just a note: when I opened the bag containing the screws, I didn't think I had enough, but there are already some screwed into the bottom of the seat, so all you need to do is unscrew and install the pieces.The chair does have somewhat of a factory smell to it straight out of the box but it wears off over time. I've done a few gaming sessions in this chair and have no complaints whatsoever. I was hesitant to purchase because there are only 10-15 reviews but I would highly recommend this chair to anyone in the market for one.

TERRIBLE!!! Box was damaged, gas cylinder wasn’t assembled, looked liked it was taken apart before shipping. Parts were missing, couldn’t assemble. Foam was hard as a rock. Very disappointed. Wheel base was attached to the cylinder base as well. Overall this is horrible. It was a gift and I’m now having to return. I went off reviews and this was a mistake. Don’t buy!
