I’ve been tempted by luxury lip balms in the $20+ range, but just couldn’t bring myself to splurge. Instead, I decided to try the Essence Peptide Lip Treatment—and I’m so glad I did. The payoff is excellent for the price. It’s moisturizing without being sticky, and the soft pink tint instantly brightens my face. The texture strikes a perfect balance—not too thick, not too thin. I also appreciate that it’s fragrance-free since my skin has been extra sensitive lately. The added peptides feel therapeutic and keep my lips comfortable and hydrated. So worth it—great value, pretty, and it completely fulfills my need for a hydrating lip balm. To top it off, it’s a clean, cruelty-free product, so I don’t have to feel guilty about doing something nice for my lips. I’m already planning to pick up the Toffee shade next!

I purchased this balm on a whim after using other, much more expensive peptide lip treatments. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it felt going on, especially given the low cost. It isn't sticky, makes your lips feel nice and smooth, and is a good overnight treatment or base before you apply lip color. Would definitely purchase again.

I got the shade Toffeetastic, and it’s a lovely sheer blushy-brown shade. Looks like natural lip color, just amplified slightly. I really like how this feels on my lips. It’s a perfect medium thickness that feels cushiony and nourishing, but the texture isn’t too thick and gloopy. It lasts about as long as most lipgloss products, so definitely something I reapply often when wearing. It feels moisturizing when on, but I’m not noticing any extraordinary lasting hydration once it wears off. I really like it, and am finding myself reaching for regularly. I might try another shade or two - the price is fantastic for such a solid product.

I really like the feel of this moisturizing lip product. Add a little lip liner and it looks great too. And this is all the best color of the choices.

LOVE THIS! Super sheer, so don’t be afraid to get the darker color! I am a person who does not like lip “gloss” — I’ve never tried to lipgloss that I like. It’s always too thick or too sticky, and it bothers me. This one while technically a gloss, is nice and sheer, and although it doesn’t come out of the tube, thin, it does apply thinly to lips and it doesn’t feel sticky like a lot of lip glosses do. Highly recommend! It feels very nice on lips and I don’t have to reapply a million times a day. It lasts several hours on my lips. It has no fragrance and no flavor. I like that it has no flavor because I have a tendency to lick those off my lips. 😂 Great price, highly recommend. This one works very well for me. It’s a keeper! Decent, just sticky. True to size!

Loved it so much, I immediately ordered more; Got it in Toffeetastic & Clear! It's glossy and shiny without being overly sticky. It's very hydrating as well! I probably need to reapply every 2ish hours, but I'm also constantly drinking out of my water bottle and/or snacking/eating, so I don't mind. And because of that, I can attest to there not being a weird taste/sensation if you get it in your mouth. It's affordable compared to a lot of other glosses out there imo, so I think it's well worth it:)

Questo Glossy Lip Treatment di Essence è stata una vera scoperta: un trattamento labbra idratante, levigante e super piacevole da usare! La texture è fluida e confortevole, non appiccica, e lascia un velo lucido rosa delicato che dona subito un aspetto curato e sano. Lo uso soprattutto la sera, prima di andare a dormire, oppure qualche ora prima di applicare rossetti o tinte labbra matte: funziona davvero! Le labbra restano morbide, idratate, nutrite…senza bisogno di riapplicazioni continue. Contiene peptidi, burro di karité e vitamina E: una combinazione perfetta per coccolare la pelle delle labbra. E il fatto che sia cruelty free per me è un valore aggiunto importantissimo. 🐰💕 Rapporto qualità-prezzo ottimo, packaging carinissimo e pratico. Lo consiglio davvero, soprattutto a chi cerca un trattamento da usare anche come base preparatoria.
