Sealey TM100 Professional Digital Multimeter, 6 Function

Mostly for automotive, I’m no expert so this was just right for me. Easy to use but with a feel of quality. I’m very pleased with it.

Working as a full time electrician and realising I had left my Megger Multifunction at home, I decided a small non expensive tester might be in order. This one seems to tick most of the boxes providing insulation resistance, continuity, voltage and current readings (get a clamp meter, its much easier and safer on 230V systems).Straight out of the box the auto ranging function works fine. I decided to check calibration against my check box. The leads were shot through give intermittent continuity and wildly inaccurate readings on insulation and continuity. I had some spare leads from my Megger to hand, and on plugging these in I got readings within 0.2 ohms of the calibration readings on insulation resistance, voltage and continuity. The meter does take about 5-10 seconds to level out at the correct reading but do not exceed 30 seconds as it can damage the meter.It comes with a backlight on the display and storage clips for the leads. The storage case and back stand are also very handy.In all, it should serve as a handy backup and fault diagnosis meter. You might want to invest in some new leads before use or you'll be tearing your hair out chasing ghosts and faults that aren't there.

Excellent little multimeter. Could do with a back-light for dark corners but I'm usually working with a light, so not a major inconvenience. Good probes, auto range saves on mistakes,

This meter does as described, continuity testing seems slightly less positive compared to my previous meter.Price perhaps a little high for the quality of the build but it does the job.

Used to check an element on my mums dryer. Smaller than a typical meter but very easy to read. The only complaint I have is that the amount of exposed metal on the probes is tiny compared to other makes I've used. So trying to get an actual reading can be a little fiddly. All in all I'm happy with the purchase.

Considerando il prezzo (in offerta anche sui 17-18 euro) credo sia un ottimo acquisto. L'impressione è di una costruzione solida, plastiche buone, rifinito nei dettagli, dalla custodia alla predisposizione dell'alloggiamento dei puntali sul retro del misuratore e alle istruzioni in dotazione.A proposito di puntali... hanno un cavo robusto e chi lamenta in qualche recensione che la parte scoperta in metallo in punta è troppo limitata, non si è accorto che i puntali invece possono essere scappucciati e la parte metallica esposta diventa molto lunga (dalle foto si vede), quindi altro utile accorgimento. Non posso esprimermi sulla precisione di misura dato che non ho termini di paragone ma considerando l'accuratezza costruttiva mi aspetto che sia buona anche questa.
