I've never made mashed potatoes from scratch (they may be better tasting), but these are excellent. You'll especially love this product if you're single and don't like measuring out ingredients and washing dishes. The instructions are simple and within a few minutes you'll have a great side dish for your meal.

Bought this when I lived in a dorm. Made it using a Keurig coffee pot thing. Its potatoes, what more do you want.

First I will say the cups are only half full so if your a big guy expect to eat two of them lol. But they taste great and for someone who doesn't always have milk in their fridge they taste way better than the box ones without using milk! Second thing I have to comment on is some of these other reviews. For the people who are having difficulties with clumps. There's this "special tool" designed to stir them so you won't have clumps and I'm almost positive everyone has one of these "tools" in their kitchen but if not there are many other things that can be used as well... it's called a fork and your hand. If you can't figure it out I'm sorry but there's really not much hope for you as a human being. You should just go out to eat if you can't figure this process out cause I honestly can't believe people are having issues with this process. I almost didn't buy these cause of these dumb reviews so if your concerned about this don't be! Those people just shouldn't be even attempting to "cook" if that's what you would even call putting some water in a bowl and stirring it then warming it up in a microwave lol.

Those little packs work perfectly. It takes literally 1 min. I just open it, add water ( I add hot water and sometimes cold water) put in the microwave for 1 min and it is done. My dad does not have teeth, so this works perfectly for him. I also use it myself I take it as lunch to work when I don't have time to cook. It is delicious, I add salt and pepper, and voila. Highly recommended, tests good, quick lunch, easy to make, & takes 1 min, what else can you ask for. A little note though, it might smell funny when you first open the box but once you add the water and microwave the smell goes away ( it does not bother me) but I know some people might be more sensitive to something like that. I have been using it for about 2 years now and I really love it.

This was a really great product a package of 10 tubs would only cost about $15 it's extremely easy to make a serving of mashed potatoes in just a couple of minutes literally and it actually is quite enjoyable HOWEVER it appears the manufacturer has quit producing it and only a few suppliers have some stocked on their shelves and as usual THEY'RE CHARGING TWICE THE PRICE ($30 FOR 10) FOR WHAT'S LEFT ....TYPICAL GOUGING AS USUAL... PRODUCT IS ABOUT TO DISAPPEAR IN OTHER WORDS FROM THE LOOKS OF IT. Even the boxed mashed potatoes appear to be running out also.

Wow, was I surprised at how good they tasted! I bought these for my husband, since he loves anything potatoes. Right now I don't have a lot of real potatoes and during this quarantine time we're trying to limit trips to the grocery store. These seemed worth trying. The price was reasonable for the amount of servings received (10 individual servings for less than $10 delivered to my door!). Long shelf life (expiration date Feb2021). I personally wasn't that interested in trying them, but after my husband made a cup he asked me if I wanted a taste? I said sure...and I was so surprised at how good they tasted. If he had put the potatoes in a separate bowl and told me he made them, I would have believed him. He even said "they're good right?" and I was like Yes! He told me he added just a little more water, than beyond the fill-line, because he likes his potatoes more smooth. He also added some butter! I would also suggest instead of adding a little extra water, add some extra milk instead, with the butter. Yum!

I got these for my dad, Who is 82 years old and living by himself for the first time in his life. He is recently diagnosed with diabetes, and I realize that this isn’t necessarily a low carbohydrate food, but he has been eating ice cream for dinner so the goal is to gradually switch him from ice cream to a more appropriate diabetic diet. He doesn’t like to cook and really needs convenience (open, add water, microwave). He really likes the flavor and he says that they’re very easy to make. Along with other foods we got him, he hasn’t been eating ice cream for dinner so I’m happy. I wish that they were a little bit less expensive, but I understand that convenience comes at a cost. And as long as he’s eating them that’s what counts.

I got these for ease of use and quickness. I didn't expect them to taste so good. They are as close to real fresh made mashed potatoes as I have tasted instant to be. I bought them for my dad's house. He lives alone and isn't always in the mood to cook. They are such a nice, easy side to have with anything. They are also so easy to make. Add water to the fill line and microwave for 90 seconds. We follow the instructions and then add warm water after cooking to adjust the consistency. Every time we are at my dad's house my 10-year-old son always wants these.
