Second time buying these in 2023! Originally bought a set in 2014. My grandchildren have smeared pink, purple and blue icing from cupcakes on these covers. I have just popped them in the washer. They came out looking brand new. I never worry about what the kids get on my chairs. Easy to put on. After 9 years, two out of six of them have some stains that aren’t completely coming out. Definitely worth buying again.

I am pretty pleased with these covers. For my dining room chairs this does a really good job! I can still tell they have a cover on them, but it's not a distraction. From a distance or a glance I doubt anyone would realize these were covered up. I think this is probably the best you can do without ordering a cover specifically sized for your chairs.Instructions were included in the box. It may take a few minutes of trying different techniques before you figure it out, but once you do it shouldn't take a very long time to cover all of your chairs. The straps go under the front of the chair, and wrap around the legs in the back to pull for a snug fit. The fabric will hang down some in the front. I just clipped the extra material to the straps underneath and tucked any lose bits out of sight. On the sides the fabric just essentially hangs there. The back of the chair seat is not actually covered on my chair, but I still think it looks fine. I think this cover fits well while also looking good. I actually think I could have gotten it to look even better if I kept messing with it, but I just haven't felt like attempting it yet.The material is very nice. It is soft and feels nice to touch. The cover will probably move around some when someone sits on it, but I find it easy to readjust. I have not had to wash the cover yet or had any spills to it. I bought this to protect the leather upholstery from my cat's claws. The material is not very thick although you could probably fit some type of additional material under the cover to add a little more in between the cover and your chair upholstery. I think the cover as it came is good enough to keep my cats claws from digging into the leather when she jumps off and on the chairs. I don't think it attracts much of her hair either. I did lint roll the covers right after I applied them and that got off any lint or dirt. I haven't noticed much dirt building up on the chairs, or much cat hair, but again I think combing the chairs with a lint roller would do the trick.Overall I am very happy with these covers. I think they look nice and now my chairs look normal again rather than being covered in towels. My only complaint would be the cost of these covers. At $20 a cover, if you have to order 4 you are looking at spending $80 in total! This is very expensive, and I think these covers would be more reasonable if for the $20 price tag you received 2 covers. Even being $15 a cover would seem more reasonable. However, this is a good product and I would recommend it.

o.k. they are made well. great color in brown. arrived very quick. needed them for large dining room chairs which the cats I found had been seriously working on with their claws. my fault I should have opened them and tried them sooner but with cooking and cleaning, cards, presents, shopping have been pressed for time. anyhow, first one went on perfectly. I thought too good to be true, this is easy. I ended up stapling front underside to chair to hold tight. no one will see but the cats! they were helping. number two seemed smaller but I forced it. three and four were definitely smaller. I had total of six chairs. I measured remaining four up and there were couple inches smaller. so word to wise, open right away and check them all. you might need time to return and reorder. I do have large seats. if you have small seats you will likely have no problems. they stretch a LITTLE. they are made well tho and should wash and wear and last forever. if the company would extend the straps or add extra pieces of Velcro with the pads those of us with trouble could do better trying to make it fit any chair better.

After purchasing the vinyl strap on covers for our dining room set from another company and trying them on, they were ok but didn't look so good. Also once you tie them onto the chair, they are difficult to untie because the straps are made of vinyl. I purchased these to protect our new leather dining room chairs from our cats claws. They has already scratched into two of the chairs. Not happy with the vinyl covers I purchased the SmartSeat Dinning Chair Covers in the 2 pack of the chocolate brown color. They tie on very easy once you figure out the right way to do it depending on the size of your chairs. To add more protection from my wife's lovely cats, I went to a fabric store and got a tool of clear plastic/vinyl to put on the chairs and then cover them with the SmartSeat covers. Mission accomplished! Chairs are protected with the clear vinyl under the covers and the covers on top of the clear vinyl look good. If you are looking for a little protection or just to keep pet hair off of your chairs, the SmartSeat covers will work well by themselves. If you have a problem like I did with kitty claws, just add some clear plastic or vinyl from a fabric show underneath and you will be all set.

These are great chair covers! I bought a couple in the beige color for my kids' seats and they look nice, fit tight, and are easy to wash. I put them in a mesh bag for washing so the velcro doesn't snag on other clothes. After I bought the first two, I liked them so much that I bought a few more as backups and for when we have company who bring their kids. I might even buy a few more and just cover all our chairs since the covers look great and our existing seats now look dingy in comparison.Update 11/29/2016 - Just ordered a few more. This is the third time I'm ordering these seat covers. At first, in early 2015 I got one pack just to try them out, then ordered extras as backups for the kids' seats for when the originals are in the wash. Now over a year later, I'm ordering enough to cover the rest of the chairs. They are great! I've put them through the wash several times. Once after a wash the stains didn't come right out and I had to run one of the covers through the wash again with spot remover (I used Soilove), but it came out the second time.
