Propress Steamers PRO580 Clothes Steamer, 4 Litre, 1750 W, 1 Bar
This 4-litre steamer is simply one of the best steamers there is in the market to date. If you’d been involved with charity shops here in the UK, you would have noticed that this exact steamer is most used compared to any other makes. Having used this steamer myself for nearly 10 years, I would say that it’s the best and my top choice when it comes to semi-industrial steamers for shop useor even household. It’s very much user friendly so long as you follow the provided instructions. It’s very durable and robust so long as you don’t abuse or misuse it. And if you take good care of it, it will take care of you for years to come. The price of it may seem extortionate but the logic is still there that you get what you pay for. In my opinion, it’s worth every penny I spent on such masterclass beast.Any major differences between this 4 litre and the 2 litre?Absolutely! The steam power and Though it may appear that the water capacity is the only difference as I too used to think but these are what I found after trying them both.First, while 4 litre has twice the power which saves you time and energy, the 2 litre doesn’t seem to have hardly any steam force while fully running which results taking twice longer than the 4 litre for similar tasks. The next major difference between the two is the 4 litre has an extra switch opposite the power on/off button which gives you options to turn the steamer on/off or put it on standby which I find very handy. With this standby feature it gives you continuity and flexibility as the steamer still keeps simmering the water. That way you have the chance to nip out to the shop floor putting out steamed clothes and carry on steaming something else where it’s left off without wasting the steam while you’re away from it for a short while. So basically it saves you time waiting for the water to boil each time it’s switched off and back on and also money on electricity bill. The only flaw of this steamer I’ve come across is the hose which is pretty long and weighty. My advice would be take extra care of it in the way that it’s not to bend to the point that it stops the steam from coming out which could result a leak of steam pressure near where it’s attached to the body. Though the support coil is supposed to stop that from happening but over time it seems to start giving in to the weight of the hose basing on my own experience. Also, clean out the limescale regularly if you use unfiltered tap water to keep it running clean and smooth.Hope you find my review helpful & enjoy steaming! 😆
