BetaFPV Meteor75 Pro Review: Perfect for Beginners and Pros Alike
I’ve been flying the BetaFPV Meteor75 Pro for a while now, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best drones I’ve owned, hands down. It’s the perfect blend of performance, durability, and value, making it an ideal choice for both newbies and seasoned flyers.Flight Modes:The Meteor75 Pro features three flight modes (Normal, Horizon, and Air), which make flying a breeze no matter your skill level. Normal mode is incredibly beginner-friendly, providing stable, smooth control. Horizon mode gives you a bit more freedom while still keeping you grounded with auto-leveling, making it perfect for learning tricks. Air mode is where things really get fun—it gives you complete control, making flips, rolls, and high-speed acrobatics a thrill without any limits.Durability:This thing is tough. I’ve crashed the Meteor75 Pro more times than I’d like to admit, and it just keeps going. The frame is surprisingly resilient, surviving impacts that would leave other quads in pieces. It can take a beating without even showing signs of wear. This durability is a huge bonus, especially if you’re just starting out or if you like pushing the limits.Functionality:The Meteor75 Pro doesn’t just fly well—it’s packed with features that make it stand out. The quad is responsive, with smooth handling and impressive agility. It’s small enough to zip around indoors, but it’s still powerful enough to handle outdoor flights with ease. The battery life is respectable for its size, giving you enough time to get your fix before swapping batteries.Value for Cost:For the price, you’re getting a lot of drone. The combination of durability, ease of flight, and performance makes the Meteor75 Pro a solid investment. Whether you’re getting into FPV for the first time or just want a tough, reliable quad for practice, it’s hard to find anything that matches the Meteor75 Pro’s bang for your buck.

This thing positively rips!
A surprisingly capable not so tiny whoop. Not so tiny, because the 75 Pro frame is actually over 80mm motor to motor to fit those 45mm props. Still, it's very nice to fly indoor especially if you have a larger house, but if you have a smaller one or require extra agility and shoot smaller gaps, stick with the 65mm size. The motors are perfectly matched to these props and deliver lots of power - efficiently! You'd be surprised at the power and the flight time.Factory tune, rates, etc. out of the box is all good. I only suggest you enable crash recovery in Betaflight and disable permanent air mode (put it on a switch instead) to make it more flyable indoors and bounce off the obstacles rather than stick to the walls or instantly crash on any contact in acro mode. The camera is quite decent as far as whoop cams go, and the VTX goes up to 400mw which gives it more than enough penetration to fly around my house with minimal breakup.I also recommend you run it on red 550mah BetaFPV Lava packs. They seriously outperform the standard blue packs the quad comes with and provide less sag under load for that extra punch and more flight time as a bonus. Also, the plastic of frame becomes brittle when the temperature dips below 40F or so and can crack if you bash it in low temperatures. Otherwise it's pretty durable. Still, get spare props and an extra frame or two if you bash it around.

3 failed motors
After ~15 flights already 3 motors failed, pcb is visible in camera. Have metero65 with many flights and all is fine. Also consumer server takes too long to respond with no help.

Amazing drone and customer service! buy now!!!
I upgraded to this quad after I got tired with my tinyhawk 3, and I was truly blown away. The power is incredible, and it has to be goin 30-40 mph at full throttle. It handles super well outside and inside, with little to no prop wash(some occasional washout at end of the battery, nothing severe) and the tune and rates are so nice and snappy, I can do juicy flicks indoors, the battery lead seems a little weak, but it’s held up. More than with the price, Beta fpv has done good.--UPDATE--The customer service is incredible. I had an issue with the antenna and vtx, (mostly my fault) and contacted them. they responded the same day and within 2 days, they emailed me sayin they had shipped a replacement part. It took just 3 days to arrive, and it works perfect again. They actually asked if it was ok to ship the part, since it had to be soldered on the board, and sent a new one after i confirmed this was OK. I cannot stress enough how amazing the customer service is, and i am thankful they are making good products for this amazing hobby. their products are more than worth it.

Check product
Seen on TikTok that this is a great starter drone to use getting into FPV just came out of the box already noticed that the wire is ripped overall the drone flies very well but I’ve bought multiple things within the last month from this company and they usually go bad within a few days, getting a replacement hopefully everything is a lot better

Super fun
I’ve only had this for a day. This is super fun and flies against the wind great! It’s also good to fly inside once you get the hang of going slow. The controller I have is the Beta FPV literadio 3 since I got the elrs version, and the goggles I got were the beta fpv vr03 goggles. It took me a while to figure out how to sync the controller but all you have to do is get the battery and plug and unplug it 3 times until it has a flashing light. Then click the bind button on your controller. For the goggles I used, there is an “s” button that you hold down to sync to the drone. Hope this helps! Would highly recommend.
