It is a pretty and dainty little necklace. But it is not sterling silver. My neck broke out from this necklace. So I know that it is not real silver.

This will either be a hit or miss. I bought two one for each of my daughters and although they are very simple and cute, one has maintained its color, the other one started turning green and rusty looking.

This is a cute little heart pendant engraved with your chosen alphabet letter: simple clean design and good quality for costume jewelry. What's exceptional about this necklace is the ability to easily adjust or change the length of this necklace: perfectly suitable for an average woman's neck, it can be sized down VERY easily to fit even a very young girl (fine for even a 5-7 year old). I think its most suitable as a Valentine's gift for elementary school age girls and onto middle school.

This is a pretty necklace but not as dainty as I had hoped for a little one.
