Reef Fishes and Corals of the Red Sea

this was our favourite book for the Red Sea, small enough to carry around, but with excellent colourful pictures (the fish look alive in this one!) and accurate, useful and often funny descriptions too. There weren't many fish we couldn't find here, and we ticked off a good portion in one week! great geeky fun. includes some corals and other sea life too.not waterproof but that wasn't a problem. highly recommended for snorkeling, Ras Mohammed etc.

1st Class book for identifying Red Sea Fish & Corals!My only minor critizism is that it doesn't have a Symbol for the Stinger's in the descriptions - although there is paragraph on the 'Danger's of the Reef' Reef Fishes and Corals of the Red Sea

Not the most comprehensive guide to Red Sea reef fishes available, but a good one to take to the beach with you. Has most species you are likely to encounter and will tolerate the add drip of water.

Really good book. Covers most of the fish and a lot of the corals that we have found while snorkelling in the red sea. Is also light so you can take with you. Giving information on each fish which is very helpful. Also the groups that they come in.Would recommend.

Great book everything I wanted thanks

I bought this for a friend who spends alot of time diving and snorkelling in the Red Sea. She loved the book and found the pictures really clear. It is still in use as she ticks off all the fish she sees and hasn't got the full set yet.
