I really was not sure what to do with this product. I read their advertisement and I read up about comfrey and I thought I would try it. I put a little bit on my breast because I have had proton radiation and I’m looking for something to soothe the skin, and it did. It soothed my skin and made it feel less taut, more relaxed and supple. The scent is not overpowering it’s just very mild sent very nice scent because I don’t like any scent normally but comfrey has a lovely barely discernible scent that was super nice. I’m going to try the product in different areas of my body, I have to read the instructions and see how it’s supposed to be used but I was so excited to use it I just applied it without reading any instructions. I’d like to know if I can use it on my face and I will further review the product after I use it on more areas of my body.Comfrey was soothing and kind to my skin. So far I can tell you that I am extremely pleased with this wonderful new product that I discovered late in my life, and I highly recommend that you try it.

A friend of mine had made a comfrey oil salve for me to rub on my chapped hands several winters ago. When I realized I had run out of my nighttime moisturizer cream, I started using the salve. After a few weeks of using it on my face, I noticed a dark spot that was of concern started to fade. The more I used the salve, the more and more it faded.I decided to look into an intense comfrey base an voila! Catskills Comfrey popped up. I have been ordering from them for 2 years now and the dark spot has just about faded away. A little goes a long way and the healing properties (cuts) are everything they say they are. It has a slight scent and yes, if you rub a lot on your face, it will come off on clothes, bed sheets and pillowcases.Consistency is key! Got my first jar of this today. Loved how this ointment felt on my skin the moment I applied it! I’m looking forward to using it every day with hopes it will soothe my lichen planus. I highly recommend it

I had never heard of comfrey until I broke my foot recently. I was told that it aides in speeding up the healing process and has been used for centuries to knit broken bones. At first I was steeping comfrey leaves and making a compress but it was so messy and smelly so I thought Id try this. This ointment has little to no smell. The company sends along a lot of info on their product and even sent a personal note on the invoice. Im not sure if it's helping or not because I have a bad break and its months before I can rid myself of the boot. If it speeds healing, because of the ointment or placebo effect, I thought its a small investment to add to the doctors directives. My doctor did not prescribe it but she's on board with me using it.
