Nice to use. Easy to setup, Reasonable range
Battery requires charge quite often if you use high power. No where near the advertised range once you take the terrain into account but still works well all over our farm

Good quality radio set!
Bought these to use for campouts with my daughter due to not having any cellphone service at the grounds. They seem to work well and had no problem with the sound quality. I like the idea of these being waterproof/floating and having a built in flashlight in case you need one.

know what you want and need before you buy these
Like many new electronics these days this radio has a menu with many option, some that are not obvious. Like how to turn it on. or how to change the volume. When you use these often it becomes clear to you. but if you have to hand one off to someone and they have no experience with the functions of this, that may not work out well. Because of the waterproof feature it lacks a simple turn knob that controls the on/off and sound.Even changing channels requires menu knowledge. The radios do work well when you know how to use them and the sound is good. I prefer the longer lasting standard battery then these rechargables. This radio can use them. So if you use these a lot then they're a great radios. But if you take them out once or twice a year, I say get a simpler radio with an on/off volume knob that has a dedacated channel changing leaver.

They live up to their description.
Great radios. They are truly airtight and waterproof. I tested them out myself throughly. I just wish they had a longer range. But other than that they work great!

Talk button didn't always work
I ended up returning them. I was very disappointed.I was attempting to upgrade an older pair of Motorola Talkabout T5920s which were bumping up against the range limitation on such an old walkie talkie. I have been very happy with how those performed, I just wanted more range. I give one to my son when he goes out biking so he can keep in touch. There was something wrong with these in that the push-to-talk button didn't always properly engage. It would send a chirp to the other walkie talkie, but absolutely no audio. It might work 1 out of every 5 or 6 presses. I had him come home since I didn't think he was answering me on the walkie talkie; he claimed that he was and I just couldn't hear him. We tried experimenting after that—we got about 50 feet away from each other, but still within sight and close enough to hear. We'd each try hitting the button and talking, and sure enough, it frequently chirped but didn't connect the audio. And this happened on both his walkie talkie and mine, so it wasn't user error on his part. We also tried swapping walkie talkies, and issues persisted with both of them.Since this was less than ideal, back they go. I'll probably try a different model of Talkabout, since I was so happy with the other ones I have. Hopefully I just got a bad pair and it isn't indicative of an inherent problem.

Perfect!
These are great! And yes, they really do float... thankfully. I use them for talking to my lifeguards while we are watching the water. It's much more effective, and more professional, than yelling across the docks. I like that I can jump in the water without having to worry about my walkie. Sound comes through clear as a bell. I bought earbuds for when I am not on the water.

Decent but not great
These walkies work well enough when you have clear line of site, but range is lacking. I was expecting better range than 1 mile max from my experience. At the very least, they can work well in a pinch.

Not all that it’s cracked up to be.
I received the phone, try to fully charge them, and they did not fully charged. The range is good up to half a mile. Anything more than that and we get a lot of static. Not very happy with it. When the sound does come in, it’s nice and clear. The range is misadvertised in my opinion

Poor coverage
Didn’t get good coverage, used it for security in 3 storey building and often cut out

Not pleased with the purchase at all
Screen started to fall off after two months of use. It is no longer waterproof. Looking at replacing these with a completely different style. Not pleased with the purchase at all.
