high amplification
For someone with moderate hearing loss these hearing aids (HAs) will remedy the problem of hearing and discerning quiet voices at a distance which one with normal hearing can hear and discern. One benefit if having moderate hearing loss is the quiet which we appreciate. We don’t hear all the noise that pollutes our modern lives. I can still converse with someone in the same room without HAs. Put these HAs on and one will hear all this unwanted noise perhaps even more of this noise than would one with normal hearing. You will hear the faint conversation at a distance and be able to discern what is being said. They have three volume levels to choose from individually adjusted with a tap of one’s bare finger. The sensor will not respond to a gloved finger. Note they will amplify one’s own voice as well but this is not an issue when one can now hear others who are speaking quietly. One benefit of these HAs is that in a very noisy environment one can turn them off while on one’s ears just by holding one’s finger on the sensor for some five seconds until you hear the message “power off”. They turn on with just a two second finger hold on the sensor with the message “power on”. They have three independent volume settings which will be retained when HAs are turned off. Note that when in HA mode if you are in the vicinity of an active Bluetooth transmitter (BT) which is trying to connect to something these hearing aids will transfer to Bluetooth receivers like it or not. As soon as the BT is turned off the HAs revert to HA mode of operation. Note this amazing experience: I had been viewing TV with these HAs in BT mode, I turned off the TV and the BT transmitter and the HAs reverted to HA mode as expected. I moved to a room where music was playing and it was far too loud with the HAs on so I turned down the volume on the receiver all the way to the limit at -70db – I could still hear the very faint music from the speakers! I took off the HAs and the room was dead silent; I put the HAs back on and I could hear the faint music again – just amazing! Another thing to be aware of is there is no charging box for these. One needs to detach the battery from the sensor body and charge them with the Y- charging cable included and mount the extra set of batteries. This detaching the batteries from the sensor body is very difficult requiring considerable pull and maybe the need to grip the battery plug type C connection with pliers. Lately I have been able to detach with just my fingers but it is a challenge. I would highly recommend these and they are so much less expensive than my $6,000 audiologist fitted Oticon hearing aids which do not amplify nearly as much.

These are better than any hearing aid!! A+++
Spent over $6k on hearing aids and hates them. Got this as a gift, easy for someone with physical disabilities with my hands to put in, it fits comfortable on my ear. Love the crystal clear sound, no longer have the tv up to loud irritating everyone. I can now clearly hear conversations and even the quiet beeps on the phone. Highly recommend for anyone who would like to hear again like you used to. Better than my expensive ones. Lasts almost 3.5 days for me wearing all day long!! Recommend to several people

Concept is great execution left something to be desired.
So, I was really, really stoked about these hearing aids. I wish I could give 3 1/2 stars because the issues I had may be more about what I wanted vs what others may want. I'm giving 3 stars because the issues I had were big enough not to warrant 4. I'll do Pros and Cons. Keep in mind that I have moderate to severe hearing loss (like, I've had hearing problems my entire life). So I'm not going to judge them too harshly on some things but what I'm going to talk about is something that, I think, will affect anyone purchasing them. Pros: Sound quality was good for what they are, OTC hearing aids. They were easy to pair with my phone They connected quickly when switching between devices (for example, if I wanted to use my phone but was connected to my laptop. I could quickly disconnect from the laptop and connect to my phone If you have issues with being seen wearing hearing aids, these look so similar to earbuds that you're not going to get a second look unless you are somewhere that earbuds aren't acceptable. Cons: There aren't many cons but they're big ones (in my eyes) They can't connect to multiple devices simultaneously. I think when I did a search on them I found that out but I wanted to add it here as, if you're like me, you like to connect your devices to multiple things. I WFH so I always have my earbud connected to my phone and my work laptop for meetings so I don't have to switch back and forth. That's why I added the part about switching between devices above. It's easy to do but not the best. They're heavy. Like, really really heavy for an earbud. I wore them for a little over 2 hours and my hears were hurting and so was my head. They will switch from hearing aid to earbud any time you land on any webpage that has a video. I was scrolling in a new article on my laptop and they switched without me doing anything because there was a video ad on the page. The video wasn't even playing. I guess the technology is such that if the earbuds/hearing aids detect something that would use an earbud, they switch over automatically The 3 level selection wasn't the best. Now, keep in mind that I usually am always going to use either 2 or 3 on hearing aids like this due to my hearing. But it seems like the difference between levels 2 and 3 were dramatic enough that level 2 wasn't nearly loud enough and level 3 squealed a lot. I could never get a good enough fit in my ear to stop level 3 from squealing. YMMV on this point. Overall, the concept is outstanding but the execution not so much. The ability to switch from hearing aid to earbud should be at the user's discretion not the device. That's an opinion that not everyone may share. I was going to keep them for a few weeks to see if I could get used to them but the headache I had after 2 hours has me returning them this weekend.

Works well. Comfortable.
It's good. 1.) Three volume settings. I'm using the lowest setting. If you tap it twice, it goes to the next setting. Handy. 2.) The ear hook is the battery, not the microphone. The mic is right by your ear hole. It's easier to tell where the sound is coming from. 3.) Works well for phone calls. Also, videos and music. (Not much bass though.) 4.) One battery charge is getting me 12 hrs plus. And it comes with 2 batteries. That's great considering that it's doing two jobs. 5.) I drive an 18 wheeler. I can wear this while driving without the truck noise being loud. It has a chip in it to eliminate background noise. It works. 6.) It's comfortable to wear. The rubber ear tips are the basic kind that come on ear buds. You can get replacements for really cheap. I like it. I ordered another on just yesterday, while they are on sale. Good to have one on standby. I only wear one. You can wear it on either ear. If you can sort of do without a hearing amplifier but you say, "what?" alot, this might be a good choice. I hope this helped. PW
