tl;dr a great addition to my SE215 headphones. Strongly recommend them.I bought this cable to compliment a pair of Shure SE215 headphones. It does exactly what it said on the tin!I initially bought this for those annoying times when you forget to charge Bluetooth headphones but to be honest I probably use this as much, if not more than the Bluetooth version!The quality is great. The headphones (not included obviously!) connect with a re-assuring 'click', the cable feels like a quality item and is nice and tactile and the fit around the ears is excellent. I wear these headphones routed around the back of my head with the built-in cable 'tidy' doing a great job of keeping the cables in place. The call / volume unit isn't too big and generally speaking is pretty unobtrusive. If using these for calls versus just for listening you may opt to re-orientate them around the front to get better positioning of the mic.

Works brilliantly. I hadn't seen an android version with a mic before but having damaged my old cable found this on amazon. Same great sound...

Got a pair of Shure SE215s back in December 2018. They came with a hands-free cable identical to this. Cable lasted until February 2020. Replaced it with this one and the cable looks, feels, and sounds the same as the other one as far as I can tell. Will update if/when this one breaks.

Very windy yesterday, but I was able to make a hands-free call while taking a long stroll. The two people I spoke to could not even tell I was outside, unlike what often happens if I'm using earbuds. Excellent product!

Buy the default shure cable instead. This one feels like a knockoff, honestly. The default cable lasts 1-2 years with virtually 24/7 use. This lasts a few months only, no longer than any other cheap cable.

Not very durable, broke after short period of use. Only one earphone works now. Volume constrol works only when you press it several times. Think before you buy.

Best headphones I've ever had, so great that you can easily replace the cable and the mic works great.

My goal in purchasing this cable was to modify my pair of Koss KPH40's to use MMCX connections so I could use a cable with a microphone / remote and 3.5mm jack. While there are a ton of cheaper MMCX cables out there, not all of them have microphones, or remotes, or specific compatibility with Mac and iOS devices. This seemed like the most reliable option.I received the cable and promptly cut the "memory wire" out of the ear pieces, which was relatively easy as long as you take your time with a sharp blade. I then tested the cable with my Macbook and phone and the controls worked as expected. After modding my headphones, I now have the exact set up I was looking for.There are some comments here about cable durability. While I've only used it for a few days, the cable does not strike me as particularly flimsy or anything like that. I'm sure there are beefier cables out there but I wasn't immediately discouraged by the quality like some reviewers indicated. Microphone quality is also very good. Recommended!

Cable a bit less quality than the original cable with the headphones, so just beware of that, but this product works very well otherwise.

Il cavo è lungo 127cm dunque è più corto di quello base arrivato con le cuffie che a mio avviso era troppo lungo questo invece è della misura perfetta per tenere il telefono in tasca . La gomma di rivestimento del filo inoltre è più morbida e più comoda rispetto al cavo standard molto duro e più spesso.. ultima differenza e miglioria è il jack che adesso è tutto dritto e non ha più la forma ad L scomodissima per l ingresso nello smartphone . Tutto sommato lo vedo come un buon upgrade rispetto al filo standard. I tasti volume ed il microfono funzionano benissimo su samsung Note 9 . Il microfono invece non è compatibile con i controller xbox one o series x . Consigliato come upgrade soprattutto se state spesso in chiamata e avete bisogno del buon isolamento acustico che queste cuffie offrono !

Adquiri el cable para utilizarlo cuando se le acabara la batería al BT-1 en unos SE215 pero la batería me dura un poco mas de 6 hrs, los utilizo con un iPhone 7 y en un Mi 9T Pro y definitivamente prefiero utilizarlos por cable en el Mi 9T Pro ya que el audio es muchísimo mejor en este teléfono (Apple no se caracteriza por tener buena calidad de audio en sus equipos), el botón que trae para ocuparlos en iOS o en Android es perfecto en mi caso por que utilizó los dos sistemas operativos, el cable mide 128cm de punta a punta sin contar el audífono, trae un recubrimiento extra en la parte que va al audífono que permite moldear y acomodar mejor el cable por detrás de la oreja, el control remoto siento que es un poco grande y hace mucho ruido cuando se presiona cualquiera de los botones, en general es una muy buena opción para ocuparlos en lugar del cable BT-1 o BT-2 y definitivamente es mejor poder comprar el cable solamente a unos audífonos completos.
