Reliable self defense in area with restricted laws.
Living on Long Island near NYC it’s very difficult legally to carry self defense items, carrying a firearm is pretty much out of the question, and tasers and other weapons are outlawed just as much. I pretty much can only carry pepper spray and even that isn’t reliable. I discovered Tactikey on Instagram through the EDC community and the concept is great and the execution is on point. I now feel safer having a reliable means to defend myself in some circumstances. The only negative I could say is that it’s not compatible with all keys so before purchasing make sure you have a compatible key. Other than that I highly recommend picking yourself up one especially at the price point.

Decent, but not my first choice for self defense..
Great idea. I don't love that the key hangs horizontally from a keyring, though, as I'm a bit fastidious about how I carry my keys on a key ring in terms of organization. This works well as a single key on a keyring with my car key fob, though. The price point is high, in my opinion, and this won't be the first thing I think in a situation where I feel I may need to arm myself.

This will give you a fighting chance to survive an attack
I got one originally just because I thought it was cool. I always have knives on me so I never thought I'd really think to use it but there are a lot of times you can't carry a knife or don't want to be walking around with it out. With the tactikey you can just hold onto your keys and have a fully practical way to save your life. I want everyone I know to own one of these. Knowing my girlfriend has one gives me peace of mind that she could put up enough of a fight with it to get away and hurt an attacker.

Best EDC tool ever
Extremely versatile, a powerful and easy to carry deterrent in case of emergencies. Plus, you can literally carry it onto planes. I have multiple and have given them to everyone I know.
