US Snacks Gourmet Pistachio Nougat, Individually Wrapped Soft Nougat Candy (2 Pound (Pack of 1))

Just try eating ONE piece of this nougat. It is so delicious I ate two pieces. In winter make sure it is at room temperature before you bite into a piece. Mine arrived cold from the mail truck and when I waited a few hours it was much easier to eat! The texture of this nougat is perfect and the flavor almost buttery. Great tasting

These are OK but kind of disappointing. They taste alright but while you can see pistachios in them, there is absolutely no taste besides nougat. I was expecting more & won't be buying again. Pistachio fudge is much better if the pistachio taste is what you are looking for.

I’m sorry to disappoint y’all, but this is utterly NOT what I or most other people would call "nougat" in the traditional Italian sense of its ingredients, taste, and texture, alone. No, this is an absolute disgrace to both Italy and the USA, folks. Whether you are Italian, have Italian roots, or not, please trust me when I tell you that you will not like this stuff. What is it then? Well folks, it’s actually just Fluffernutter repackaged and reformed with nuts/seeds like almonds & pistachios (no peanut butter) into a semi-soft rectangular shape. It smells just like that marshmallowey brand-name “Fluff” stuff. So listen up! The people that make this crap will be cheating you if you buy it. SO, PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK! You have been forewarned. Now, how does it really taste? Well, lets just say, AWFUL, especially if you ever had real Italian nougat, which by the way, is sold on Amazon marketplace. Since I’m alway open to trying new sweets, cookies and candy, I figured I would give this U.S.-made “nougat" item a try, but honestly, WOW, my taste buds have never been more disappointed with me than they been in thier entire life (my life). In fact, I feel that I was cheated on this purchase, and I think you would feel the same way too if you tasted this JUNK. Real nougat has a nice texture, and it has a pleasant, subtle, honey-almond flavor, and it often comes individually wrapped in an incredibly thin, non-sticky potato-based “communion” style wafer. So, in conclusion folks, please do yourself a favor if you are reading this review… just go ahead right now and search Amazon for yourselves for the real, traditional, Italian nougat, and for God’s sake, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, DO NOT waste your money on this crap like I regrettably did. It’s such a shame that Amazon even has this item selling on their marketplace!

I decided to try this American made torrone. The taste is decent. The problem is that I live in Las Vegas. It arrived at my door pretty soft from sitting in the PO truck during delivery. As a result, it was impossible to peel away the covering. This torrone doesn't have the typical Italian white coating. Even after refrigerating, it's challenging to get the plastic wrapper off. Would that happen if it hadn't softened? Don't know.

Absolutely delicious

I saw this on my recommended from Amazon and thought "that looks interesting, I want to be adventurous and try that!" Yeah no, these are very stick-to your-teeth kind of treat and mostly tasted of sugar, sugar and more sugar.

These come in big delicious chunks of candy. This is my second order. Would recommend!
