Grt little tool for dressmaking
Brilliant little gadget , first time ive ever used one before, but absolutely amazing. There is a knack to it i would advise watching a utube video to see how works probably. One downside the cutting tool not grt u have to press really hard move clockwise anti-clockwise motion a few times , then use scissors to make hole . Need a hammer to , but when I practice a few times done job brilliant would recommend for any dressmaker 🙏🏻

Easy to use
Never knew these were a thing until I needed 1 for repairs.Easy to use, just get your hammer & whack. Fixed my repairs then found myself just going round finding things to make holes in.

Not good on thick fabrics
I got this to put eyelets in a dress made of layered heavy cotton fabric (4 layers). The hole tool blunted after 16 holes. The eyelets were not 'long' enough to got through the layers of fabric and hold the joining ring when hammered so they popped right off. I think this product would be great if you're just using it for one layer of thin leather or fabric, but it did not work for the project I am working on. The picture I have included 1/3rd of the eyelets popped off as soon as I added a lace.

Will do thin things, but won't work on a thick leather belt.
Easy to use, but only on thin items, like clothing or tents.

You need a hammer!
Product is great although instructions should say YOU NEED A HAMMER. Once I’d worked that out easy easy!
