This is not Campbell's chicken noodle soup. I was curious what a famous-name can of soup would taste like. How different could it be from Progresso? I've never enjoyed a four- or five-star meal in the U.S., I always left disappointed and feeling critical, though my experiences have been much better overseas, particularly in Japan.The main thing you will notice is that this chicken soup's chicken tastes like real chicken. Having spent summers at harvest on the family farm, I know what real yard chickens taste like. They aren't plump and their muscles have texture and strength, and you'll notice that here. The second thing you'll notice is that while flavors are a bit understated, they combine very well. This reminds me of the chicken noodle soup my German-bred Kansas farm-raised great grandmother made when I was a child thirty-odd years ago.

Very disappointed !! I bought several different brand named soups this month for camping and when I received them I compared the sodium in all of them out of habit. The Wolfgang puck's was the smallest can and the highest sodium content by serving. We were starving and still found it bland and lacking salt so we added more salt and some pepper, but still didn't taste good. The worst part was that two of us had a stomach ache the rest of the day!

I don't usually buy canned soups, but occasionally I'll grab a few to have around. This happened to catch my eye, and the name made me curious to try it. I figure a world famous chef must've found a way to elevate canned soups so sure I'll give it a try....well it was about as bland as any canned soup I've ever tried, even after attempting to season it since I was at home. Letting it simmer a bit helped slightly, but the ingredients were still blah, the noodles being especially bland but plentiful. On the plus side, lesson learned that even in the world of food, a famous name doesn't necessarily mean a positive difference in quality...blech

Some years ago I threw out all the food in my pantry that wasn't organic. Within a couple of months I lost 20 pounds, no dieting at all, just eating Organic, and I was healthier. But over the years I slipped back into buying soups and other things that contain commercially grown veg. My health has suffered. I'm pretty old, so I'm not sure I can regain the health I lost by going back to casually eating vegetables that were grown using glyphosate (RoundUp) in and around them. It's amazing to me that to save 50 cents a can, I was willing to cut short my life expectancy. :-(

The only soup I ever tasted (excepted for my mom’s and grandmom’s), that DID NOT taste like a bowl of salt. Absolutely excellent tasting ! I just wish there was more chicken per can - but definitely adequate. I recently illiminated 90% of sodium out of my diet and recccomend tris to anyone on a low sodium diet.🙂

No better tasting than other bland canned chicken noodle. Disappointing. Won't order or have this again.

Very light on contents. Maybe 7..10% food, but this is mainly BROTH. I would not buy again. Unless you want broth, you'll be hungry after eating a whole can, which will be maybe 5 bites of solids. I was surprised by the brand name being so empty!
