****updated to 5 star review**** I originally rated this as a low review but am changing this to 5 stars because of the amazing service I received from Creality. I ordered this product 3 times. The first 2 times I ordered, the package was lost in Ohio at the same exact location. I contacted Amazon both times. Time number 1 they shipped a replacement. Time number 2, they offered a replacement but I refused because obviously there was an issue with shipping because both were lost in the same exact place. The 2nd time Amazon lied to me telling me they spoke with the warehouse and it was Creality that had the issue. They never spoke with the warehouse. They never confirmed my package was not lost like customer service told me. I was told that I could order a different product of the same type and Amazon would reimburse the difference to my original payment method to make up for the difference in cost. I finally received this one which did come from a different warehouse. When I called Amazon to get the reimbursement, I found out Amazon had again lied and I was only able to get an Amazon gift card for the difference. After spending my whole evening speaking to a supervisor, I was offered a little bit more on the gift card for my troubles. Still didn't help with the higher credit card payment I was stuck with since they didn't do what they said they would. I reported the agent who provided false information but whether or not it will go anywhere is questionable. Creality was absolutely amazing! They contacted me directly after I left a review with info about how bad the service was and they did tell me that Amazon was the problem with the shipping as the item I ordered was in Amazon's warehouse and not shipped by Creality. Creality offered me a partial refund to my credit card because of the issues I had which is what I was supposed to receive from Amazon in the first place. The cutter itself works so well and is exactly the upgrade I had been looking for. The air assist included makes the cuts look so good! The machine was easy to set up. I had 0 issues. A lot of people say the directions aren't clear and I do agree that the part about installing the belts isn't clear, but if you look at finished photos or watch a video it's very easy to figure out. I love this upgraded cutter (I had a 5 watt before). The cutter works well with lightburn. The only issue I have is sometimes lightburn does not seem to find my cutter and I have to click add device so it finds it again. I have not used the rotary attachment yet so can't comment on it. Thank you Creality for your excellent customer service. It is so appreciated and I will be a repeat customer in the future!

First off, the instructions for this thing are in Chinese… You get about 12 lines of English instructions in a 20 page book and they are virtually useless. You have to go and watch YouTube videos to be able to put this thing together and most of them suck… Then when you finally get this thing put together, you have to hope that it powers on. Mine didn’t power on due to an issue with the emergency stop switch that I had to fix on my own. The machine thought the e stop was on all the time when it wasn’t. There is nothing in the instruction manual about software, there is nothing about suggested software, there is nothing in the instruction manual that tells you what any of the beep codes mean on the machine… so when you press the start button and it beeps twice and then proceeds to do nothing at all, it doesn’t tell you why… maybe it does if you read Chinese… literally 90% of the instruction manual is missing. They give you about 6 English sentences on how to put the entire machine together, and then nothing else. They don’t tell you how to do any test runs, they supply you with a microSD card, but I don’t know if it actually has a file already on it or not because when I put it into the machine and turn the machine on, the machine beeps twice and then proceeds to do nothing… I don’t have a freaking clue what that means because I don’t read Chinese.. and nobody in any video has bothered to tell us what any of this stuff means. C reality should be doing it… but I guess they expect everyone to be able to read their Chinese instruction book… Then there is the honeycomb… They don’t bother to tell you that they don’t actually give you the honeycomb or any type of surface material so when I finally got to the end of following the video showing how to put the machine together, it got to the point where they grabbed their little honeycomb platform and start setting the laser height, and that was about the time that I realized I needed to stop and spend more money and buy more crap… you will have to do this too… get excited for the machine… then get frustrated by the lack of instruction with the machine, then buy an overpriced platform material piece that should have come with the machine… ( unless you want to catch your table on fire… ) they really need to disclose that you need to buy more items to actually use this product… and once you have waited another week for that stupid thing to come in the mail, then you can go back to trying to figure out how to actually make this stupid machine work. It’s probably really simple… But again for the 20th time I don’t read Chinese. and from the looks of these reviews, lots of other people don’t either. they need to show you how to use the product… I’ve had this thing set up for four days now, I have multiple 3-D printers, I literally have a $13,000 CNC router in my garage, and somehow it’s this stupid 10 W laser that I cannot seem to get to work… and that’s ridiculous because the main reason why I have yet to get it to work is because the people who sell it to you don’t tell you how to make it work. The instructions might as well not even be included… Creality, You’re lucky Amazon makes me give you one star as a minimum. I’m lucky that this is the first product I’ve purchased from you…. I will not be buying any other others. My blood pressure is through the roof right now.

I absolutely love this laser. It is the first laser I have bought and used and it has been pretty simple so far. The instructions aren’t fully clear so pay attention to putting it together. There is a pin for the limit switch that goes on the controller side. I put it together backwards and had to take apart and reassemble. So far, I have engraved several items without issue. It has been accurate with everything I have done so far. I will be upgrading to a model that has a camera assist for easier aligning. Not an issue, just takes longer to get everything lined up. This machine is built very well and I can see using it for a while. It was larger than what I expected so it’s nice being able to do bigger items. All in all, I would recommend!

I like this Creality Falcon Pro 10w Laser. It is working very nice for my projects. One benefit of this Falcon Pro 10w laser is that the open design allows for working on some larger objects. You will also want to purchase an enclosure with exhaust for lasers and a honeycomb base to use with this unit right from the start. I got the Creality Enclosure 2.0 and the Creality Honeycomb 500x500 and they work well with this laser setup. Together those added about another $150 to the cost. This Creality Falcon Pro 10w laser works very well and I am happy with it. But you should know that this is an older model and if you are just starting you might prefer the newer Falcon2 12w Laser for only a few dollars more because it adds a little more power and convenience and also has a preassembled frame. This one you have to put the frame together. Or you might prefer the newest Falcon A1 because it is fully assembled and includes the enclosure with fume extraction and a camera that adds some ease of use features that you may want. Whichever one you decide to get I think it will be a good introduction to laser engraving and cutting and you will enjoy making things with it.
