Kinto Unitea - 460 ml One Touch Teapot - Heat resistant - Glass teapot with stainless steel filter and lid

I absolutely love this teapot! So small and cute; perfect for me as my fiancé is not a tea drinker. I was on the cusp of sending it back though because the rubber seal was not fitting properly — the lid would try to fall off when I was pouring and the smaller tea leaves would slip through the gap. Then I realised something big: the rubber seal lip was pointing down (not up like in the picture). I took the rubber bit off, flipped it over and now it works flawlessly! So happy I figured this out! I don’t need to hold the lid to pour at all and nothing gets past the seal.

Love this little tea jug as I’m only one in family that drinks green tea. Its smaller than i thought but still love it. Some might consider it expensive but it does what it says on the package.

Superb tea pot

After enjoying using a Kinto glass teapot at a café, I decided to buy one as a present. Looks the part but for the price I would expect the rubber seal around the top to actually hold the lid in place while pouring out tea (as it did in the café).. You have to hold the lid on with your finger to stop it falling off! very disappointed considering the price and because it was a present.

Looks great, does a great job straining, easy clean. I love it. Only downside for me is the price, especially given you really need one pot each. However I highly recommend it. I had many different teapots and this is my favourite.

What I wanted. It was a bit small than I expected, but it hold 460ml!

Pricey. But If you're looking for a one-person teapot, it's exactly what you need. If I accidentally broke mine, I'd buy another.

Sehr tolle Kanne. Wie alle Kinto Produkte einwandfrei verarbeitet und optisch sehr elegant. Der Tee hat noch nie so gut geschmeckt :) Obacht: Bei Tees mit kurzer Zieh-Zeit ist diese Kanne dennoch eher ungeeignet. Brüht man zum Beispiel einen japanischen Schwarztee auf, will ihn nur 3-5 Minuten ziehen lassen, so kann man zwar nach besagter Zeit eine Tasse herausgießen, die verbleibende Wassermenge zieht aber weiter. Der nun noch verbleibende Tee in der Kanne wird bitter, da man den Tee aufgrund der Art der Kanne nicht entnehmen kann. Das ist ein grundlegendes Problem bei Kannen mit Ausgusssieb wie dieser hier. Trinkt man aber zu zweit, bleibt kein Wasser in der Kanne und man stößt nicht auf dieses Problem. Notfalls weiß man sich auch mit einer großen (z.B. Kaffee-)Tasse zu helfen, nur ist diese Lösung recht unelegant, trotz wunderschöner Kanne. Uneingeschränkt kann ich diese Tasse also nur an Leute empfehlen, die Grün- und Schwarztee meiden, oder ihrem Tee gerne aus riesigen Tassen schlürfen. Nur kann man sich in letzterem Fall auch gleich einen Beutel in die Tasse hängen.

本品は､色々な面に於いて使い勝手が大変宜しいティーポットだと､個人的には感じております。 先ず､ボット本体の形状が丸みを帯びたフォルムなので､リーフ状の紅茶を淹れると､茶葉がスムーズにジャンピングします。 又､持ち手の形状が絶妙なので､持ち易く,握り易く感じました。 そして､蓋の内側にございますメッシュ状のフィルター並びにゴムがしっかりとしておりますので､密閉性の面でも優れております様に､感じました。 それ故に､例えばCTC製法の紅茶を淹れた時にも、ボットを下方に傾けながらカップに注ぐ時にもボット内部の茶葉が外に一切出ません。 それから､注ぎ口の形状も絶妙なので､注ぐ際に液垂れしませんね。 以上の様な次第で､本品は大変満足度が高いティーポットとなりました。

Rubber ring on the lid is not held in place and shifts up when putting the lid in and falls off easily. Also due to the teapot shape, you basically have to invert the entire teapot to pour our the tea.
