Not very good, maybe I got a bad pair?
Maybe I just got a bad pair?I've had these 4 days, but there are 2 major issues for me:1) The lower correction part of the lens (1.75 in my case), go up too high on the lens. Looking through the upper part(supposedly no correction) of the glasses, I can see way too much of the 1.75 bifocal. There is no smooth transition from upper no correction to the 1.75 part of the lens. It's way too distracting. I realize these are not progressive lens's. But looking straight ahead I see way too much of the lower correction. If the 1.75 part of the lens started just an 1/8 inch lower would be a lot better. I tried adjusting the nose piece to raise and lower the glasses, no help.2) Maybe the worst part....The upper part of the glasses are supposed to be "no correction" and clear. Mine are not... There is a blurriness to the upper part of the lens, as if there is some correction that I obviously don't want or need. It's very slight, but it's enough to be too uncomfortable and bothersome. It's too bad, I otherwise really like these glasses. Again maybe I got a bad pair. When I opened the package they seemed used (odd packaging and one of the temple arms were bent).Sorry, I cannot recommend.

makes my electronics projects easier
got these because ive recently shown my age and became far-sited. first noticed this while trying to do electronics projects. work nicely as i can now read schematics further away, and still see the work on my desk. took a star off for the visible line dividing the two focal points. still, the star is not lost, its just a pointer for everyone. these glasses are very useful for the desk i need them on. took quite a while for them to arrive.

Sturdy, optics pretty good.
I bought these to replace a set of rimless bifocals from Fuisetaea, which I broke by placing them at an awkward angle in a cargo pants pocket. I think the Fuisetaea had slightly clearer optics for the upper portion of the lens, but it must be close. On the other hand I did answer a 911 call recently, whilst wearing these. I didn't even notice I was wearing them. I drove to the scene and these work pretty well for emergency driving. Ambulances tend to have a lot of small lettering on the control panels for lights, sirens and radios. This pair definitely helped when you needed to glance down quickly, press some button or switch and then go back to looking forward again.I think I wore them for the entire call including in the back with the patient and later in the ER. I don't exactly remember, which probably means I didn't realize that I was wearing them. For the record the clearest part of the upper (non-magnified) portion appears to be right in the center of the lens, just above the bifocal transition. It is not at the top, where I assumed it would be.

Better than expected
it is not bad at all !!!! it is very light. I don’t have to put the reading glasses on and off.

Great value for excellent black frame bifocals
I liked these glasses so much I ordered another pair but with blue frames. They arrived but despite the box saying blue inside they were black. I returned them and ordered another pair but the same mislabel error. I kept them nonetheless as a spare pair. The glasses are lightweight but strong. Why pay hundreds for bifocals when you can buy these from Amazon. I wish they would label their boxes correctly so you get the color you chose.

Reading area is too small
DIdn't care for the style. They do work OK for driving at night so that you can see your dash or GPS. But the reading area isn't big enough - you can only see with the reader cut if you are looking directly down. If your head is level, and you are looking at your lap, you can't see out of the reader portion. Can't use with a laptop or phone without lifting your head. Back to the half frame readers for me.

My favorite readers.
I've had these for about a year now. These are GREAT glasses! They are my FAVORITE readers. They are made of some good looking light weight aluminum type material. The line is in exactly the right location that I don't even notice the line, in fact I forget that even have them on. They seem to have an iridescent anti-glare coating. They are easy to wear, well fitted and great looking!

Frames well for big heads like mine
These glasses work exceptionally well and are wide enough for big head folks like me. The lens are clear enough to see far and near with little head movement. You do have to adjust to a line that appears in the middle of your vision but if fades as you wear the glasses. The metal frame is solid with minimal flex. As I get older, I know where to come back to when I require an upgrade.
