I bought this clock four years ago and it's still perfect. The ceiling display is not distorted and shows very accurate temperature inside and outside. Very easy to read. I love the color changing Clock display. I leave it on all colors and watch it slowly change from one color to the next. It's soothing and helps me fall asleep. It's not too bright, but bright enough to see it in the daytime. I would buy this again.

I like knowing the time and temperature. The projection on the wall is very easy to set up. I bought for the bedroom set it up in the family room and I will need to buy another to get it in the bedroom. I love this clock.

Update: Customer support came through with their promise after my original review (see below). The replacement clock has been functioning well with one exception (usb cable connection). The clock syncs well to atomic time within a few minutes of connecting it to power. The display has options of several colors as described and has a few dim/bright options. The dimmest setting for the face display may be a little too bright for some but you do also have the option to go to a blank/dark face. The projection is good with time and indoor/outdoor temps alternately displayed. The temperature sensor seems accurate and the clock was able to pick up the sensor signal on the other side of the house and through several walls. The only negative for this replacement clock is that the usb connection to charge my iPhone doesn’t work well. When connected the phone keeps going back and forth between indicating it is being connected to power and disconnected with the phone beeping every few seconds as a result.Original review: Clock synced to the correct time within a few minutes but everything went downhill from there. None of the buttons were functional so brightness and color could not be adjusted. Temperature display for both indoor and outdoor were incorrect as well. Customer service said they would send a replacement but after almost two weeks of waiting they did not respond to request for tracking for the replacement clock.

The media could not be loaded. I gave this one time to use it before reviewing it to see if the projected night would get dim. It's been a few months and it's still as bright as the day I plugged it in.Pros:- It's easy to program- the outside unit is weather proof.- the projection is bright enough to see well but not so bright it keeps you awake.Cons:- the screen on the clock can get a bit too bright. There is a way to turn it down, but on the lowest setting, it's still kind of bright.- the weather function is useless.

Good little product

I kept my purchase, however I do wish I had purchased something else. I like some of the features like the easy to read digital, ability to change the digital colors, the projection is cool, the alarms are not super loud or obnoxious but it's effective, dual alarms are nice, and I like the light touch to the top snooze feature. My biggest complaint is that it's so lightweight that it gets knocked over all the time. The cord seems heavier than the alarm clock which makes it even more prone to being knocked over. Next biggest complaint is that the outdoor thermostat is basically useless for me because it's not weatherproof. I have no awnings or porch covers on my house so there is really no place to keep it dry and out of the elements, and if the sunlight shines directly on the sensor the temp readings get extremely inflated. Why not just manufacture this correctly to where it's encased in something water resistant? Seriously! It's a bogus feature! Right now I have the stupid sensor in my garage, but I could really care less what the temp of my garage is. Also, my alarm clock didn't come with a box or instructions which was annoying. If that happens to anyone else, just come back to the original listing here and there is a pdf download of the instructions here, so that was helpful.

Very light construction quality doesn’t give a great initial impression, but it works great! Outdoor thermometer is a real bonus with lots of temp and weather information and a very clear projection that tells indoor and outdoor temperatures and time. I bought a second unit just in case I can’t find another one if it breaks. Great price.

The small clock has many features including the option of a multi colour display. It has a bright projection display that shows internal/external temperature and time, and is super easy to set up with the remote external temp sensor. It’s small footprint takes up little space on the bedside table. The bright display transforms the ceiling into an informative and unobtrusive information focus.

Great clock. I like the crisp display and the projection as well. The set up is easy. Worth buying.

Beware things bought on Amazon.com.au, even from a place called "The Big Australia Store", that have no Australian reviews. Mine arrived with a US power plug. It looks like the adaptor does take 240V/50Hz, so I think I only need to buy a plug adapter. But very annoying.
