fantastic bag
I bought this bag as i travel a lot and needed something that would be able to withstand being banged about by airport baggage handlers.Firstly the bag is deceivingly large and can hold far more than other 90ltr holdalls that i have purchased. It also has a waterproof internal pocket so you can keep any documents dry while out and about.I love the fact it comes with the straps that can be fitted to make it into a rucksack. It makes it multi purpose as not only a holdall, but can be used for beach etc.The stitching looks to be excellent and i have not seen any signs of fraying or wear on the seems (and i have had the bag packed to bulging point many times).I already owned one of the small overboard waterproof bags for the beach, and this holdall is of the same material so no soaking wet luggage if caught out in the rain. It is also wipe clean son ideal if it gets dirty. Have not tried to wash in the machine as a quick rub with a wet cloth has done the trick. The only pick up i would have (and its a bit trivial) is i ordered the white version of this bag, and on the picture it looked more grey than white, but it really is white, and i mean brilliant white, although it really doesnt make any difference to the quality.

am super happy with them.
So far so good. I bought both the 35 and the 50 ltr. And am super happy with them. I do treat them well, by that i mean, i don't think they are invincible. The soft plastic they are made out of, i think, would easily tear if gouged by sharp metal like a shroud or broken cleat. But the handles seem strong and are designed well. The inner waterproof pocket gives increased confidence that your valuables will stay dry, whilst the main bag when zipped up, would take a massive amount of spray and everything would stay dry. The true test would be whether it can sit in a puddle of water... but sorry haven't had this scenario yet. My biggest fear is luggage guys at the airport, but in this size i have only used as 'hand' luggage and was perfect for this!! loads of usable room!!

World travel solved
It's big but that's what I wanted, and it laughed in my face at a months abuse thrown at it through Vietnam and Australia. Was worried by plastic buckles but they seem to be over engineered for purpose, shoulder strap or rucksack mode both great and zip reassuringly solid. Will withstand a monsoon/sailing easily and probably even stay dry for a little while if fully submerged, although important docs should be put in the inside even better protected pocket. The tiny lock it came was utter junk but don't let this put you off.

Nice hold-all
Nice bag.Could be improved with a better internal pocket arrangement. The only complaint is that the shoulder strap squeaks.I use it for the gym as it fits well into a locker and is water proof so a wet floor is no problem.

Buy it. It's great.
Best bag I've owned so far and I own a lot.The opening zip sits against your back when you are using it with the back-pack-straps, so you can wear it without fear of thieves getting into it when you're not looking. It's pretty good when it comes to being water resistant too.Plus it's roomy. I keep an insulated lunch bag in it and have more than enough room for running gear and a fleece too.

Brilliant
This is a huge bag and when it is full of kit I stagger to pick it up, and I am six two. The bag is sturdily built and seems waterproof, just what I was looking for to take my stuff on yachting trips, where either waves down the companion way or condensation can get to ones stuff.

Great bag
Really well made, solid bit of kit. I use it everyday as my gym bag, but it also held enough for me for a week's trip. Interestingly the design features are almost identical to the North Face duffel my son has - and the quality is just as good. Next time I need a bigger bag I will certainly look at Overboard as one of my first options.

Plastick clips not good
Plastick clips broke when attempted to lift the bag with a moderate weight.
