Very cool beginner magic set for kids or adults
I just got this to expose my niece to magic. She hadn't even watched a single magic trick, but after watching a bit of cup and ball tricks she was fully invested in learning that trick. This set includes a simple version of the cups and balls and many other props that make it pretty simple for a 5 year old to learn the basics of sleight of hand, illusion, misdirection, and manipulating perception. For a measly $26 you get hours of entertainment. Bear in mind a lot of these tricks are simple enough for kids to perform them, but others are only possible for kids a few years older.Honestly, I would give 4.5 stars if I could simply because some of the directions have terrible English making it hard to comprehend the steps to the trick. A few of the other props are not even in the direction booklet. I haven't checked the Youtube channel yet but hopefully it includes all the tricks missing from the booklet. Finally, I really like the included bag which you can use to store everything and get rid of the bulky box (we actually kept the box as it keeps everything nice, neat, and organized).

Easy to follow instructions!
I got this set for my 9-year-old grandson. I thought he might enjoy doing some magic tricks. And, he does.He did require some help with some of the tricks and instructions, but go the hang of the tricks he learned, so far, fairly quickly. They include plenty of tricks in this well-made and well thought out kit! This kit is good for kids and adults, too! We really love it and are having a lot of fun with it. There are written instructions, as well as links to videos you can watch to help, as well.

Best Beginner Magic Set Available
I am a 76-year-old semi-pro magician. This is the best beginner set I have seen for kids and adults. The props are adequate for learning the moves, patter and sleight of hand. There are 96 videos, most less than four minutes long, that use the props in the magic set and everyday household items. The proper magic terms are used so when the beginner magician advances beyond this kit, they will recognize the magic vocabulary from these videos as well as some of the professional, much more expensive versions of some of these tricks. Classic tricks that all beginners should learn, such as the Cups and Balls, sponge balls, paddle moves, and card manipulation, are taught. Each video teaches a tiny technique that, if practiced over time, will add up to a basic understanding of how to perform magic tricks. The Cups and Balls routine is basic, but search YouTube videos for more advanced handling. One problem is getting to the videos on a PC. A QR code on the cover of the magic instructions takes you to the instructional videos on YouTube. There is a long, confusing URL to enter into a PC. I worked around this by scanning the QR code with my phone to go to the YouTube channel and clicking Subscribe. Then, open your YouTube account on a PC and log in. On the left side of the screen, under subscriptions, click on Oasis Magciks. This will bring up their YouTube channel. Click on the Playlist tab and then the 85 videos playlist. This kit is highly recommended, and the magic bug may bite, leading to a lifelong interest and possible career.

Something to do together for a long time
My husband wanted a magic kit to entertain our grandson and eventually teach him how to do the tricks. This is a great starter set. There are quite a few fun beginner tricks in here. Right now our grandson is a toddler, and scarves coming from his thumb are high entertainment value. The instructions are pretty good, it takes practice and a little bit of your own style to get it right.Really happy with this set so far. My husband is a big cups and balls trick guy, so he was happy that was included.

There is always that one gift that they will remember you (as long as you get their dreams right)
People tend to complicate gift giving and miss the point altogether when they focus on the wrong angle. This box set of magic would have not been understood or appreciated had it been given as a gift to someone who loves Tonka toys. Magic is truly magical for those who love to entertain. Some people sing better than all others but love the secrecy and club building of magic. One of my friends did a magic show once a month and he practiced and loved the entire process. This is the gift that took him to that special place. The kit has a large number of items to keep the drama alive and it is the first step before taking on the expensive side of being a magician. However, it is the life lessons of obsession and perfection that forces the precision in the drama. Those are lessions that have made many a promotion be possible. Colorful and easy to start magic combines with more advanced concepts with the outcome of knowing if this is where the gift needs to be. This box set will please!

Comprehensive Magic Kit for Beginners
I bought this for my nephew, but I got to see him try it out and interact with most of the props. Overall, this seemed like a very solid magic kit for beginners. I has all the bare essentials for close up magic: thumb tip, cup and balls, coin tricks, and a version of three card monte. Most of the items were of average quality, but I really like the magic drawer box and it seemed better than other cheap versions I've seen. All in all, it's a very solid kit for a kid to start getting into magic. My only real gripes are that there aren't many card tricks and that the they'd rather you use a video guide instead of a detailed user manual for the tricks.
