The Best Yet with a Caveat
These shoes are the best Glycerins yet. They fit right and have good arch support. They are well made and comfortable. The toe box is generous and the shoe fits well in the heel. The ride is smooth and cushioned. The sole has a unique grip design, great for the road but be careful it can also grip carpet - when the shoes were new they unexpectedly stopped on carpet in an airport lobby but I kept going - down on the floor. I was lucky to get up with only a few bruises. After months of wear that grip design has smoothed and I can now walk in airports but carefully.

Great walking shoes.
So good for walking. Lots of padding in the heels. Plenty wide. Shoelaces stay tied!! I paid a little more than I usually do for shoes but these were well worth the additional cost. Very very comfortable! I absolutely love them. And they have worn very well. The sole is pretty flat. Good on streets and sidewalks. I will buy another pair when these wear out. I walk 4 miles a day in them! Get a pair!!!

True to size and width, great shoe so far.
These shoes look and feel fantastic; very light, and supportive. I've only worn them a few times now, but I will update my review after a few months.

Luxurious ride
This is my second pair of Brooks Glycerin 21s. Brooks recently replaced it with the 22 and the 21s are already becoming hard to find in my size, so I bought these even though I don't need them at the moment. As a 65 year old who runs 40+ miles a week, I need to baby my legs. I've found that this is the absolute best shoe for me and my running, most of which is done between 9:00-11:00 minutes per mile. I have over 700 miles on my first pair of Glycerin 21s, so durability is not a problem. When I put them up against these, it's clear that the foam midsole has broken down and so they need to be replaced, but they literally look brand new. The outer sole is very durable, as are the uppers. I single knot them when I run and they never come untied. The ride is certainly plusher than the Ghost, and the weight difference is not enough to notice for a runner like me. All in all, the Glyercin 21 is the perfect trainer. I love them and highly recommend them.

Better than Hoka
I recently purchased the Clifton 9 sneakers in a striking Cloud/Black/Gold colorway and took them for a spin during my invigorating morning run. While these shoes offer a comfortable experience, a noticeable distinction is evident: Brooks showcases superior craftsmanship. The outsoles of Brooks shoes are designed to last significantly longer than those of Hoka, which is particularly beneficial for runners. After only 80 miles in my Hoka shoes, I can already spot signs of wear that are concerning. In terms of comfort, fit, and value, I wholeheartedly recommend the Brooks Glycerin 21. Its impressive longevity and exceptional upper build quality make it a standout choice for anyone seeking a reliable running shoe.

Excellent shoe
Great shoes, nice traction and cushioning. So far, holding up well and I like the support they give on longer walking excursions. The size seems to run about a half size small so be aware of that. It has not affected my use of these shoes, it is noticeable, however.

Incredible Shoes!
Great shoes! Super comfortable and tons of cushion. Never cared for Brooks until these shoes. Even more comfortable than my On Cloud shoes. For reference I'm a 53yr old male, 6'3 220lbs with back and hip issues for years of sports. These shoes really reduce the pain during and after a jog or workout. I'll never go back to Nike or New Balance again. And if you can catch a sale, do it! Normally $150, I got these for $99 each. Started with one pair and they were so good, I ordered two more! Next day delivery too. Highly recommend for walking, workouts; running. Light weight shoes too, not bulky or heavy at all.

Comfortable
Last year I went to a local shoe store to find some new breatheable shoes that would be comfortable for work, I decided on a pair of sketchers that I liked but having them for less than a few weeks I noticed my foot already in pain. So I decided to get show inserts and that worked well, so I decided to get a few more. Well it has been a year now and I still have a few pairs of those but I was tempted to find something better for my feet. I did tons of research and came across Brooks Glycerin 21 to try out. I work in a warehouse for ten hour shifts on hard floors. So was tempted to not only find something breathable but also more comfortable. I chose a wide 9 shoe for my brooks and I so far am happy to say they are the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned in my life! So this week is my first week I will be wearing them to work to give them the real rest and I will update! I also was tempted to try the newer glyercine 22 but I figured there was so much good reviews on the 21 and it was cheaper, I would try it first. Eventually when the 23 comes out I will get the 22 on sale and try it! I also read the brooks ghost max 2 is comfortable but it's mainly good for a run than take a break from them, these glycerin 21 I read are good for on your feet all day so we shall see! Overall so far I'm impressed on the fit, the quality, the comfort!
