I have been getting interested in printmaking and wanted to do a class project. These printing blocks are user-friendly. My students range from 10 to 13 years old and they have blown me away with what they can achieve with these fun little blocks. I would definitely recommend. they may be on the higher end price range but because you can use them over and over again I think it is well worth it. We have learned that in the print making process sometimes the edges becomes stained with layers of paint, but I think it adds character to the printmaking process.

I’m not sure what went wrong with this class pack of gel plates, but I was disgusted to find they all had internal bubbles that show on the prints and the acetate sheets are stuck so solidly that they are impossible to peel off without permanent damage to the plates. I have other products from Gelli Arts that are fantastic, so this poor quality product was very disappointing.
