I have been dealing with some kind of acne for a while now. It has gotten so bad that I haven't wanted to leave the house. I tried everything. Eventually I found this exact soap recommended of a forum online. I bought this and paired it with Disposable Face Towels, which was also recommended to ensure you are always washing with a clean towel. By using both this soap and a new disposable face towel twice a day, my face is finally starting to look SO much better. So many other acne treatment did nothing for me, plus would start my skin on fire. This has been the first product/soap to actually be gentle enough while still working. I do still have breakouts that I'm trying to figure out the source, but I am now feeling confident again. There are days my face is actually very clear of acne and glowing! I believe my face still just needs time to heal from the years of tormented acne. But I finally have hope. I use this twice a day, and it does dry my skin out some, but not enough to cause irritation. I can tell if I miss a wash with this my acne starts to creep back. It also has a pleasant fresh scent to it which is a bonus. No harsh perfume smell.

This stinks like sulfer but it cleared my stubborn chest acne so, so fast. I recommend using it at night before bed so you don't smell like eggs during the day. But boy, is it effective at clearing acne.

I never heard of sulfur soap and came across this looking for something to help my sensitive, oily, acne prone skin. This is now taking the number one spot as my skin remains calm even when I’m on my period. It’s not drying. I feel like I could use a higher sulfur percentage (or maybe I need to use twice a day instead of once). There is definitely a smell while using the soap but nothing too extreme. The smell lingers about an hour after washing, and is faint.

Best face soap I have ever used. It's the only one I will use now. Plus it lasts FOREVER. My hormonal acne is basically non existent along with my random mystery rash dermatitis. I can't recommend it enough. It doesn't smell strongly of sulfur and definitely doesn't make your skin smell fyi.

This soap works wonders on my rosacea. My skin reacts to many gentle cleansers but this one soothes and calms redness! It does feel slightly drying at first but once my skin adjusted to the product I haven’t had an issue. My skin has never been smoother or healthier! Also, a major perk is it lasts FOREVER. I’ve been using the same bar for 8 months! Highly recommend.

I'm glad this works for some folks, but ouch - dry skin is a no go. I was wary getting this since it said normal-oily skin on the box, but I broke out with perioral dermatitis from stress and one of the popular dermatologists on Youtube recommended this for the condition. I have a bit of rosacea so even though iI had dry skin, I was in such itchy pain I thought I'd try it - anything to solve this issue! The smell isn't so bad, if you've been to a natural hot springs you know the eggy sulfur smell - but gosh my skin would prickle after using this. Still, it was the dermatitis throwing a fit, not my regular skin, so I thought perhaps it was working whatever magic it had that made a doc recommend it. I only used it on the places I had dermatitis but after a week I had to give up - it had broken my skin barrier all around my mouth and took me about 2 weeks to recover. I hoped dealing with this issue would result in at least the dermatitis going away or lessening but it did nothing. I'm sure it's fine for folks with an oil issue, but it's too harsh for dry skin - we'll have to figure out how to fight this issue another way. So if you are here looking at this product because of the same Youtube recommendation, and have dry skin, skip it - it's not for us.

Winner! Stop buying harsh and complicated goo to wash your face. Those products are doing more harm, so it’s time to stop the insanity. Buy this bar, get back to basics and watch your skin repair itself.
