I used Nespresso Vertuo pods for a while and the coffee itself is actually pretty good. It makes a decent mug-sized cup with good strength, smooth taste, and a nice crema on top. The downside is the price — they’re quite expensive, and you’re locked into buying Nespresso’s own pods, which makes it feel a bit restrictive. In the end, we switched to a different machine mainly because of the ongoing cost. Good coffee, just pricey.
