The struts are defective and stuck. I weigh 240lbs and cannot get them to budge. I thought my structure wasn’t strong enough but they will not move. It ended up breaking the hinge. Please get back to me seller, I have spent so much time on this kit, a refund or a replacement that I can at least try would be great. Thanks.

Could not recommend this murphy bed kit less. The instructions are garbage and it doesn't help they are metric but that is only part of the issue. Both struts completely bent and damaged the bed frame. I tried to save money by getting this kit and it definitely cost me. Now I have to disassemble the bed and start over.Update:Seller reached out to me and gave me a refund so I'm moving this to 3 stars from 1 due to customer service.

The instructions are one sheet of paper with pictures only and very hard to follow and use the metric system. I finally got it all assembled and the peg bent that supports the bed. Don’t waste your time.
