Ich habe diese Schildkröte meinem Neffen geschenkt, dieser ist erst 4 Monate alt. Er reagierte mit strahlenden Augen darauf und schaute sich die Sterne an der Decke genau an, auch seiner 2,5 jährigen älteren Schwester gefiel sie sehr gut. Wenn der Raum gut abgedunkelt ist, sieht man die Sterne und den Halbmond scharf und deutlich. Leider hab ich vorher nicht darauf geachtet, ob Batterien enthalten sind und zum Glück hatte meine Schwester noch welche zu Hause. (Habe meinem Sohn auch eine gekauft, allerdings waren da Batterien enthalten) Die Schildkröte ist bis auf den Panzer kuschelig weich. Auf dem Panzer sind leider drei herausstehende Staubkorngroße Erhebungen die etwas scharfkantig sind, weiß nicht ob das bei allen so ist, allerdings stören sie nicht weiter und passieren kann auch nichts. Fiel einfach beim darüber streichen des ansonsten glatten Panzers auf.Die Farben Blau, Grün und Bernstein können einzeln ausgewählt werden, oder automatisch wechseln und durch den Timer schaltet sich das Licht automatisch aus. Durch die verschiedenen Farben entstehen verschiedene Helligkeitsstufen. Während Blau und Grün den Raum heller erleuchten lassen, wird der Raum bei orangenem Licht etwas dunkler. Echte Sternbilder sind mir nicht aufgefallen, aber vielleicht muss man sich damit besser auskennen oder länger beschäftigen. Beiliegend befindet sich ein kleines Heftchen, mithilfe dessen man verschiedene Sternzeichen entdecken kann. Die Bedienung ist kinderleicht, das Licht sehr angenehm und beruhigend. Der Kauf hat sich wirklich gelohnt.

I bought this for my youngest when she was 6 months old. She was fascinated with lights and thought this would be perfect for her room.Words can't describe how much joy this turtle brings to my little girls day. She beams whenever I turn it on. It's such a friendly looking turtle that babies seem to be drawn to it.I was a bit worried about the hard turtle shell where the stars are, but am pleasantly surprised that even when she "enthusiasticly" bangs on the top, it stands up to it! I actually like the hard top compared to the pillow pet light ones. My oldest has managed to stick her fingers in the top of her pillow pet one and get it stuck in the lights. I love that this isn't possible with the turtle.I originally thought this would be more like a pillow pet that you'd want to lay on. I'd definitely say it is not like that. Laying on it would not be comfortable. However, that doesn't matter since it's become a great nighttime light.It does have a long turn off timer (close to an hour). At first this annoyed me since I was worried how quickly the batteries would burn out. I will say in 6 months though, I haven't needed to change them.I love the variety of colors that you have with the lights. You can keep it steady on one light, or gradually have them fade from one to another. That happens to be our favorite setting.I am impressed with how far the lights shine. While setting it on a low bookcase, I can clearly see the stars on the ceiling. I don't know much about stars, but the company advertises that these stars are in the correct location as they are outside.I'd recommend to anyone! I think it's great for a nursery or for older kids that need a security light in their room.

This arrived today by Royal Mail, around 9am. Very pleased to get it so early and I opened it with my little girl who was ECSTATIC to see a new toy!This turtle comes in a very pleasant blue color, and I love that it is cuddly and light, my daughter can pick it up with one hand!Batteries are included so you can start stargazing as soon as you get it out of the box.There are 3 colors to choose from: amber, blue and green. The light does not heat up so it is completely safe for your child to play with it, the only complain is if you have a high ceiling the lights does not show up very well, but completely fine to use on closer areas.I have done a lot of research and almost went for a pabobo, but I've read lots of reviews to say it breaks down after a couple of months, but I'm really happy with this purchase!I rarely spend time to write reviews for product but this one is worth my time!Before I finish off my review, may I advice you NOT to order with Amazon, their courier (Amazon Logistic) is rubbish!!!I'm a Prime member but lately isn't seeing the benefits to opt for a next day delivery because they never come when they are supposed to, they leave no card, nothing. In the end I've had to complain to Amazon's customer service department and ask for another courier. Save yourself some headache!

That's what my wife told me after having this turtle light for two years. That's why I'm here, to tell you that this thing is awesome. It is so easy to use. The kids love it (we have three under age 6). We use it every night. It provides just the right amount of light to help the kids fall asleep. And the timer function is great. Automatic turns off after 45 minutes. Over the past three years we've swapped out the batteries three times. No issues whatsoever.
