compatible with Kobalt 40V battery. I used it lawn mower and charged it with Kobalt original charger. see the attached images for reference. The original package is with two Kobalt batteries of 2.0Ah, after 2 years service they are not enough to finish mowing the whole yard. This one is 6.0Ah with the same dimensions, and it is able to do it with only one. Also, it has a power indicator, easily pushing the button will tell you if it needs charging or not.
