Instead of individual contacts I got a tape line of contacts that have to be cut off and if necessary smoothed before using. Additionally the crimp area is not a barrel to insert the wire but fold over tabs. The bag is not labeled to indicate that these are indeed 45 Amp rated Anderson PowerPole contacts. I am not pleased with this purchase.

Deceptive picture, false claims
The photo included with this product is stolen from another site and is NOT representative of what you get. As you can see in the attached image, these are joined together and must be cut apart. THEN you must use a Dremel tool or something similar to grind off the tabs or they will not fit into Powerpole holders. Further they are NOT silver but are tinned. I might have known this had I read the reviews, but you shouldn't have to read reviews to know what you are actually getting.I just ordered 25 of these from Powerwerx for 1/3 the cost.One third.Not good Amazon.

Don't buy these non-genuine PowerPole contacts. They need cutting and sanding prior to use.
Don't buy these. The picture does not accurate describe the contacts. These contacts come in a metal tree requiring cutting individual contacts out first, then the tabs must be sanded down in order for them to fit inside the PowerPole connectors. If you are doing 1 or 2 contacts, that may be OK, but if you are doing 100+, be prepared to spend hours prepping the contacts. Unlike this product, the genuine PowerPole contacts come individually ready for installation.

These slide together and lock very nice and seem to hold up well.
Work GREAT,i did not like the U shaped crimp style they have on the back so, I cut off one side, then bent the other over like a circle, I then put in my wires and crimped them and Soldered them..These slide together and lock very nice and seem to hold up well.I have 6 different radios, and other irems on my desk i change frequently and this saved a lot of extra wires and plugs that had to be put on the desk.

Not what they say they are
These connectors are not worth the money you pay for them. First, the supposed silver plated contacts are not silver plated, they are TINNED!. Second the connectors WILL NOT fit on 10 gauge wire, they barely work on 12 gauge wire. I have purchased 45 amp power poles before so I know how they work and what wires they fit on. These are not the genuine article, look elsewhere for the proper power pole connectors.

Get the job done....
These contacts appear to crimp well onto #10 wire. I have not had a problem with any of them jamming/kinking in the ratcheting crimp tool, so they must be the real deal. The price was great and I appreciate the flexibility being able to order the contacts separately from the housings to go along with all the extra housings from botched earlier projects. I'll certainly be ordering from this vendor again next time I need Anderson PowerPoles (and/or contacts).

I See More Powerpoles in My Future
I can appreciate the attractiveness of Powerpoles, not only for emergency and portable radio operation but also for enhancing the flexibility of DC wiring arrangements within a fixed station. I found it rather difficult to solder wires onto the connectors and consequently I intend to purchase a crimping tool before expanding my collection of installed Powerpoles. Some of the videos available online are helpful for the Powerpole novice.
