Twin Peaks: From Z to A [Blu-Ray]

I had read a number of complaints about the packaging of the DVDs before I ordered this set. Apparently so had the seller as the set I received arrived in perfect condition. Inside the case were plastic "pages" each having 2 spindles on each side. Each spindle was designed to hold 2 dvds. I had read one complaint about there being 3 discs forced onto a spindle creating the risk of the dvd breaking. I did not experience this on the set I received. There were more than enough spindles to hold the discs with only 2 to a spindle. The pilot is also included on Disc 1 of the standard Blu-ray version which is great as the additional ultra hd disc with the pilot would not play in my DVD player. Each disc also had the episodes printed on the label. This case is no different from other DVD sets that I have purchased in the past.

Awesome collection! Great packaging, regardless of what other reviews say. It's typical stacked, but with disk separators in the pack that click the discs into place and is nicely organized. Love all of the extras. The focus of content is the 2 original seasons, the "limited release" 3rd season, and the film Fire Walk With Me. So, everything Twin Peaks is included here. Great collection!!

This is probably the definitive Twin Peaks collection with regard to filmed media. The headline of my review answers the main question that I had prior to preordering the set, as it did not specify in the description. While I have yet to explore all 21 discs, it does include all 3 seasons, separate 4k discs for the (I believe European version) pilot and ep8 of The Return, FWWM, Missing Pieces, and tons of interviews and behind the scenes footage. I literally cradled this box set as I slept the first night I got it as if it were my mother's sister's girl's blue stuffed teddy bear. Yeah, I sound like a shill, but as a TP superfan, I'd have paid twice as much as I did for this set (now I can cancel a streaming service with this set of discs!). Treat yo'self!

The media could not be loaded. Twin Peaks is one of the all time greatest television/film series, so I was very excited to pre-order the re-release of the “From Z to A” collection. I was very disappointed with the packaging, as when I had pre-ordered, many of the photos in the product paged advertised showed a beautiful set in cardboard/textured material, with all discs packaged in paper sleeves themed to the Black Lodge, as well as several glossy photo prints and a cutout of Laura Palmer and Dale Cooper together. However, this re-release came in a very thin, cheap plastic case where many of the discs are stacked directly on top of each-other flimsily and not well protected, and included no photos, paper sleeves, or the character cut out, which were all noted that they would be included in the item description at the time I made the purchase. In fact, several of the discs were “popped out” and loose in the case when I initially opened it with minor scratches. This product was falsely advertised when posted on Amazon, however the content on the discs are amazing and it is still worth a purchase to be able to own all 3 seasons and the movie. Just be weary of purchasing if you are looking for the nice packaging the original “from Z to A” collection came in.

Okay, let's get it out of the way: the show is really good and I love it which is why I bought this when I could. Now, let's get into a REALLY big problem with the order. I saw all the time online that this set had really bad packaging, which of course, it's an Amazon order of a really big multi disc set, the case is gonna crack and the disc packaging might be broken. I expected that so I ordered a CD case too. What I did NOT expect was the disc packaging to be STRONGER THAN HERCULES and even HE couldn't get it out without CRACKING THE DISC IN HALF! That's what it feels like to take A DISC OUT to me. WHY?! WHY?!? WHY IS IT SO DIFFICULT JUST TO TAKE A DISC OUT, MY THUMB GETS CIRCULAR DENTS JUST TRYING TO PRESS ON THE PACKAGING SO IT CAN SNAP LOOSE?!? IT'S ALMOST IT WAS DONE INTENTIONALLY!! GET THIS SET IF YOU WANT, JUST PLEASE KNOW WHAT YOU'RE IN FOR AND PREPARE ACCORDINGLY BY GETTING A REPLACEMENT CASE LIKE I DID!!! THIS PACKAGING CAN GO STRAIGHT TO HELL!!!

This includes Twin Peaks Season 1-2, the movie Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, and then the Twin Peaks Revival Season, along with a plethora of special features. I have no complaints at all about the content of the Blu Rays.However, the packaging of these was awful. Discs are stacked on top of each other in turnable pages. Discs can easily fall out (one of mine did in shipping, but thankfully wasn't damaged.) I understand why they did it this way, but I certainly don't approve.All in all, it's an affordable way to own the complete run of the show, I just wish they'd have packaged them differently.

Horrible case, amazing content and bonus content. As someone who watched the entire series on my computer (lynch would not approve) this is so worth it. You will own seasons 1, 2, fire walk with me, and the return plus all bonus content for each. You get the log lady intros for each episode which I'm pretty sure the only way you could have seen them before this was if you actually watched when the series came out. I would recommend buying a CD case as the discs come stacked on top of each other and the case is truly horrendous.
