So OK it's not a Dyson fan, but it looks and performs much the same I would say. At £79.99 (the price I paid late June 2018), what is there not to like about it. Time will tell how good it is.This fan can be operated by manual buttons and a rotary switch on the front of the main body, or from a small remote control. From the remote control the fan can be programmed to switch off from half-an-hour to two hours in half hour increments, oscillation is contolled from the remote contol or on the body of the fan. It is also possible to tilt the fan forward or back manually. Aa you might expect a UK three pin plug is already fitted.The fan when working does get noisier as the speed is increased, as the air is forced through the fan which is a little annoying, move away from the fan by a metre or so and the air movement is more noticable. I have to say I did expect it to be more forceful, perhaps that would be a wrong assumption, but just a thought.The fan as delivered has no brand name on the box or on the instruction leaflet, which seems a shame as the fan does as stated on the box. Homepro Platinum is not mentioned anywhere either on the box or instruction leaflet. Delivery is free and took about seven days to arrive.Update: After about four weeks the fan developed an intermittent fault...stopping for for some unknown reason, eventually it stopped working all together. The response so far from the seller..."could I get a qualified technician to check it out and submit a report"? Not quite the response I was expecting. I have down graded my initial review from 5 stars to one star following the component failure. Item has been returned and fully refunded.

The product creates a lot of noise but not much air circulation at a low setting

I would be very wary of purchasing this. I’m in the process of handing it back - used it each night over a period of 8 days then it failed. It’s not like a Dyson this one is cheap and flimsy and only really moves the air to cold on first setting go to top set and it’s output is useless if looking for cool air. Feel too that in trying to return it there is a little ducking and diving going on. Amazon have refunded and it’s appreciated but I still have to get the machine returned and this would seem to be causing a problem.

Good for the price you pay compared to dyson this f you want the premium quality then I suggest you pay the premium price for dyson but we find it good for the occasional hot day in the uk

its an excellent product but remote is a little small

looks the same as a more expensive fan costing four times the price.for the money it is great value, it has every thing you want too keep coolgood purchase I am very happy with it

Fan is way too noisy. Description says low DB with a max of 60Db, i could be wrong, but it's no where near quiet. Ended up buying a different product. Will be looking at returning this item as it's not as described and certainly not fit for my purpose.
