Worked for 3 months.
I bought this on December 18, 2024. Install in January. It worked fine for 2 months and no longer works. It is supposed to have a one year warranty. I can not find where to file a claim on their website or on here.I can not recommend this product.

HUGE waste of TIME & MONEY
The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: ok so I’m going to change my review from 1 star to 5. I tried to change the charging cord again and it actually did charge this time. So if at first it seems like this battery isn’t charging, give it some time. It took what seemed to be a lifetime (5-6 hours), but it did fully charge. I’ve used it and so far it’s actually been great. I was thinking about making it 4 stars because there’s:-no directions-the tools it came with are cheap-there was no soft foam covering for the wire of the replacement battery but the original battery had which I assume is important because there has to be a reason why right?, BUT honestly I am just happy that it works and holds a charge. I’ve been using my speaker and the battery hasn’t gone down super fast so I assume it’s all good. I am happy. For reference I just used a belkin cord and it was plugged into my computer tower. I unfortunately don’t have the original charger anymore so maybe it’ll be better if you use an original. Idk but it worked for me. Anyway, I’ve been searching for a JBL CHARGE 4 battery replacement on Amazon and THIS ONE ACTUALLY WORKS.This battery replacement was such a huge waste of time and money! Let me start by saying this took five-ever to arrive. When I received the battery it included a small screw driver, a small plastic tool for lifting off the cover and the battery. The battery didn’t have much of the protection or insulation (there’s a black soft foam around the battery and the cords) like the original battery did. The entire process took me around 50 minutes. It wasn’t too hard and I found a video tutorial courtesy of YouTube Univeristy. It wasn’t hard, but it was tedious. The screw driver it came with kind of sucked because it was starting to strip the screws. Luckily, I had another screwdriver that fit better. The little plastic tool for listing off the covers broke too, but good thing I was pretty much done with it. The battery seemed to fit into the speaker nicely and I was able to close everything off to its original form. My speaker was able to power on, but quickly died and I figured I probably just need to charge it. Well, it’s been charging now for 4 hours and it’s still at the same level as when I started charging it. I tried switching power cords and everything, but to no avail. Huge waste of time. All that effort to be given a dud. In short, this battery doesn’t even charge. It’s a no from me. I’ve attached a video showing my speaker “charging” at the same level for 4 hours.Let me also add and save you some time by saying I have searched Amazon high and low and have yet to see a review of a battery replacement for the JBL charge 4 that actually works!
