Good Video Card for Older PC
I needed a HDMI video output from my older desktop PC to my TV to watch streaming movies. My computer has PCI slots. This was one of only few video cards with PCI board interface and a HDMI output. After card installation, and hooking up monitor, the computer works. I have Windows 7, 32 bit. Provided driver on DVD failed to install. Went to device manager and requested web search for the driver. Once driver was installed, resolution is good. I could not get movie sound on my TV thru the HDMI interface and did not try to investigate further. It could be my old mother board and not the fault of this card. I did not give 5 stars since I only had card for a day. I will wait to check card reliability.

Works fine on 9 year old desktop box.
I purchased this to upgrade an old Dell Optiplex 745 machine originally sold by Dell 2-17-2007. I bumped up RAM to 8GB and added the Sparkle Graphics card as well as a WiFi card. Currently run Windows 7 and Windows 10 (dual boot) driving three Dell 19" monitors. At first, only Win 7 supported the three monitors, but, at this point in time, Win 10 is quickly evolving, and the latest release had drivers to support all three in the "extended display" mode. I don't do games; just business apps, so I can't comment on game performance. But for what I do, it works well.Win 10 REVISION: I just installed the latest "build" for Windows 10 (10162) and this device no longer works (it was supported in the five prior releases). So I'm shopping around for a new device driver. Yikes! When you are accustomed to three monitors, it's tough to regress back to one!

Great card for cutting the cord using an older PC
I've got a vintage 2005-era PC that is still usable and this card helped me bring it back to life. The PC had only one PCI-E slot, which ended up being taken up by a Hauppage HVR 2250 TV Tuner card. This left my options of a video card pretty small, as almost all video cards these days are PCI-E. When this one arrived, I was able to get it up and running quickly and before long I had OTA TV pumped into my stereo via HDMI. I'm using Windows 7 Media Center and so far things work very well. Had no issues with drivers or configuration. It just worked "out of the box".

Worked as advertize maybe even a little better!
Just updating an old computer and I wanted to have HDMI out. This did the trick. It might be a little pricey but it does work.I have Windows XP SP3 the drivers loaded from the website with very little trouble. Note, I also updated the the power supply to a 480 20+4 ATX. Since my original was so under powered at 250. I have not tried multiple monitors but that looks like it would not be difficult to set up and run. The box says Sparkle but it's Nvidia all the way.

For a PCI solution, it works great
Both our computers are running better now, The card IS PCI. They re-use a PCI-E box, with a sticker over the PCI-E logo to indicate that the card is PCI. They do not however stick over the back of the box, so it still says PCI-E, which is why I think it confuses some folks.Bottom line is - if you have a PCI only PC, these are are a terrific option.

Nice PCI graphics card; works great with Windows 10 64 bit.
Nice card for older motherboard! I put it on a 2005 Dell GX620 motherboard and it works great! It was kind of tricky to install...at first the motherboard wouldn't see it, but I tried removing the 3 volt battery, then replaced it (which resets the CMOS settings), and it was smooth sailing after that. I used the Windows 8.1 drivers from NVidia, and it worked just fine with Windows 10 Tech Preview build 9926.

Great PCI graphics card, runs a monitor and HDMI HDTV no problem!
Great PCI graphics card, runs a monitor and HDMI HDTV no problem! I would recommend this video card to those who want a decent graphics performace (not for gaming). Plenty to push 2 monitors or monitor and TV, but if you don't have an AGP or PCIe slot then this card is about the best you'll find.

Sparkle PC 8400
The board worked well. I upgraded an older mini PC that had onboard video that performed poorly and had no HDMI. This was just about the only PCI slot video card I could find. Higher resolutions are available and dual monitor support. Movies play much more smoothly.

Great.
Fixed an old IBM GL300 with this card. Has a DVI and HDMI as well, which is great. Was plug and play. One star off because it's a bit too expensive for an old PCI card.
