Works great. Have used it for a while now and for multiple set ups from testing pc components, running a fan on my desk, or using it to test automotive electrical components.

Works great! I can finally make use of my old fans after I upgraded them.

Works for cooling my small 10" homelab rack. Used a USB power brick and a Noctua fan. Can barely hear it. I haven't had any issues with melting or it getting hot. Has an on/off switch and a potentiometer to adjust the fan speed. Easy peasy.

I eanted it to test computer fans before I installed them to see how quiet and fan output. It's perfect. It also showed me how the fan would respond at different speeds. must have for computer builders, many other uses too. Now I'll use it for soldering to use an old computer fan to blow away smoke, very useful. invent your own uses

destroyed my fan after about 5 minutes. janky build. also switch is labelled forward/reverse not on off, which would be a terrible thing to do to a case fan. also the speed control is only voltage.

Simple little tool, not much to say here. It lets me adjust fan speed, and works great.

Wasn't really expecting a whole lot for this thing. Just needed it to power my 120mm fan and it works fine, but definitely feels cheap. The dial to control the speed gets a bit warm though, but nothing alarming. Kept it running at full speed for around an hour and seemed fine.

This little adapter is really useful and does a good job. I’m knocking down a star just because the control on it are not that intuitive overall I think it’s pretty useful and it’s been running nonstop for the past couple of months without issue preparing an external fan.

Works perfect with the Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM fan, I can now use the dial to increase the fan performance to low or high or in-between. This gives me the benefit of picking the right noise I want and if I do require a bit more better cooling performance I can increase the dial to push the fan more better but this comes at the price of more noise. Its expensive, but its the best fan controller via USB on the entire market, the others have cables that do similar are chunky have boxes and power inputs but this ones slim and simple and just works.
