This is SUCH an amazing heater. My little sister (10) was sweet and wanted to help me with the tank, but ended up plugging in the heater while there was no water in the compartment. I got nervous for a second, worried it would burn up, but the auto shut-off worked perfectly! In a 13.5 gallon saltwater aquarium, it maintains temperature beautifully. Will definitely buy again for future tanks.

Works great. Thank heats up fast and accurate. Not overly expensive compared to some brands. Easy to set temperature. Should hold up well in saltwater. Small so it fits in the sump for tank.

I initially set the unit to my target of 76. After running it 8 hours, it kept the tank at 78. Knocked it down a couple degrees to 74 and achieved my 76. As long as it stays consistent I’m happy. I cross referenced 2 other thermometers. A food probe and a sticker thermometer. Ultimately it could be because of my tank, flow etc. it’s definitely an upgrade from the one I inherited from the previous owner of my tank.

Great heater so far. Keeps an accurate temp and most importantly it fits perfectly in my sump. I bought this specifically because it was the smallest 500w heater I could find.

While the unit itself is nice and user friendly, it would have been nice if it came with the suction cups so I could use it properly!! Checked the box and no such luck! Also the thermometer that came with it dosen't work at all
