Works great on chocolate.
Works great. Every year at Christmas I buy a couple of 10-pound chocolate bars to take in to work. This year I tried using these forks and they work so well that we feel that we ate through the chocolate bars faster than before.

the chocolate I use is a thick block- the prongs bend and make it hard to chip the block- I bought an ice pick and it works better than this- I recommend a $2 ice pick to break up any chocolate bar it works great.

works flawlessly
raw cacao (one of my food groups!) lovers must have kitchen tool. i had my first one for about six years before one of the prongs came loose today. i went to my back up of the same thing. (i buy multiples when the product is the best ever) i would say i got my moneys worth. i litterly worked it to death. i make my own raw sugar free chocolates. i go thru about 2 lbs of raw cacao every 2.5 weeks or so.the prongs are 1.75 inches long. the handle is ergonomic, easy to grip, doesnt slip out of your hand, and is comfy to use and keep on using for lots of cacao making.this works much better than a knife no comparison even. (if you use a knife you would end up damaging the point of the knife anyway and using a knife if dangerous for this task. and took forever one point one piece at a time. i was using a knife before finding this tool.) with the multiple prongs you are able to break up a chunk if cacao quickly. if you are breaking up a brick or block thicker than the prongs you would have to use the fork in steps break it up from each side until it breaks into more managable peices sometimes with a rocking motion maybe. when i use it with chunks i put the raw cacao in one of those flat bottom glass measuring cups that have the capacity of 2 cups. ive had at least 5 ounces in the cup at time and broke the cacao chunks up with ease. the measuring cup is deep enough that when the cacao gets broken up it stays inside instead of shooting out all over the place (for the most part, lol).needless to say im buying more than one back up now, since i will be using this tool until the day i die.
