There are better options for artists
What I would say right off the bat is this - don't be suckered in like I was by the cheap price. These canvases are serviceable, however the cheap, low quality way they've been manufactured is clear. Two of mine were fine enough, but the other two has noticeable diagonal "streak" marks in one corner, which unfortunately does tend to show through the paint unless you are using a dark colour or multiple layers of paint. The quality of the fabric is again, serviceable but feels rough and uneven. The lack of wedges would make it 2 stars if I cared about such things. As it is, you get what you pay for unfortunately.

Like: comparatively low cost; ready to use (multiple primed), takes oil paint really well.Dislike: nothing.Used in a beginners oil painting activity and gave three to other participants (as very low cost). Very pleased with results, as were the recipients.
