lots of good reviews because the quality is good. got it to stop leaking by tightening more. mine made a foghorn sound on every breath intake, ( I doubt anyone else has had that problem) but it would drive me insane after 10 minutes and scare all the fish away. the nose pinch is nice but does not give easy access to your nose, you can barely reach it. my biggest problem with most of these masks is that it's fine when you are looking ahead but as soon as you look straight down, the snorkel submerges and cuts off. it needs to be angled behind your head more. think about it. you want as much freedom to look all around as you can get when you snorkel and looking just straight down is not an unusual thing to do. deal breaker for me so I returned. probably will wait until the Seaview 180°V2 Snorkel Mask comes out. it looks like a better design.

I was very skeptical to try this product. It's a semi new tech with being able to equalize pressure, its only 30 bucks, and I have always been accustomed to the old snorkel and mask. I tried this in the pool for 2 hours and here's what i learned. When first putting it on it was amazing!! No fog, easy breathing, crystal clear viewing. After about 30min-60min of swimming. I had to spend about 5-10 min readjusting the straps to find the sweet spot again. I assume the straps loosen a bit after being wet for so long, and requires some adjustment. When diving down, the nose piece works great and you are able to equalize. The mask does however suck to your face due to the pressure so I wouldnt recommend free diving down more than 10-12 feet. I also noticed that the mask can feeel like it is adjusted to the right place, and then when diving 6-8 feet down, the mask pressure can be very uncomfortable. Just need to readjust and find that sweet spot again. As far as hanging on the surface and floating along, this mask is amazing. (So far) I have 2 trips coming up in the next month and plan to snorkel/free dive every day. If the mask holds up after those, ill be super impressed and it would have paid for itself by then. (Rental mask - $10-$12 per day)I'll update after the tripsUpdate after trip 1.... Both breather valves popped off and were lost. Worked great up until then. Working on finding where I can buy breather valves. Kind of upset the fell out so easily.No response from the company on purchasing breather valves and can not find them anywhere online. Starting my return. Mask fogs up immediately without the valves. This mask would be worth it if valves didnt fall out so easily.

This worked really well for me. I have a full but short beard and only had minor leaks around my mouth that were easily dealt with by the purge valve every time I exhaled. Not good for swimming down to see things closer, but for staying in the surface and just paddling around - perfect.

Interior valves fell out first time it was used. Mask fogged up bad and when I removed it to adjust and figure out the problem the valves fell out and floated away before I could catch them. Now the mask is basically useless because with the valves gone it fogs up very easy and is hard to breathe with due to the volume of air you have to move through it. No way to get new valves as I have looked. The rest of the mask seems to be of good quality and it is too bad that such a small issue makes the mask essentially worthless.

Solo lo he usado una vez, pero se me metió el agua, quizás me faltó apretarlo más, pero habría que probarlo más veces. Se ve muy bien bajo el agua, hasta antes de que se meta el agua al snorkel.

It was difficult to use and opted to using a standard snorkel on our trip.It did not seal well even when tightened extremely well.I was sucking water in.

I should have known that "fits perfect from 12 to adult" is an impossible statement. I'm a 6'7" man and this mask did NOT fit me. It leaks, it fogged and was difficult to breathe, even surface floating. When I compared it to other rental masks, this is clearly for children or slender faced young adults. I ended up renting one. Very disappointing. I'll give it to my grandkids.

The samofik was a great buy!!! Especially after shopping around and researching other snorkeling masks of the same type!! When I put the mask on it was everthing that I was looking for in a mask and expecting in comfort. I can’t wait to the use it again!!!
