First ordered back in May. First day using it, had items that could be used for composting. As soon as I started the machine, it was working fine but then stopped after 30 minutes. When reading other reviews and double checking the manual it stated that the crush mode could last up to about 3hrs but for me it was stopping every 30 minutes.I originally thought it was a motor issue because of jamming so I lessened the amount put it but still had the same issue. It would flash on the "ferment" mode. In the manual it states it is a motor issue. I kept trying on different days until I reached out to customer service.They were very helpful with my issue and they First asked me about my lid. I checked but I felt it wasn't an issue. I sent pictures and even video clips. In the end, it WAS the lid. They shipped me a brand new lid and as soon as I put it on, it fit super flush. Apparently my original lid was missing a small piece thus making it slide out of unlock and stopping the machine.All in all, the machine is beautiful, quiet and I doesn't smell as bad. The smell depends on how stinky your food is and how long you let it sit in your composter. The build quality is really great too. It has been able to handle what I have put into it.Thr capacity seems great too. Everything seems to break down pretty well. I can't wait to make more for my garden!

I love this. I was sceptical at first ok lets try this. And I ahve to say it is amazing I looove it now. You cannot put seeds in it like avocado or date seeds that is the only thing. Other then that it is amazing I put all my kithcen scraps in it once it is full I turn it on - overnight - and voila next monring I have a little wonderful nutrients for my Garden to dispearse. For wtter things - example I juice so having a lot of wet cabbage pulb I just use some dry foliage from garden some leafes etc. to make it more dry and next morning enjoy having some goodness to put back into my Garden. It is amazing. Very quiete just a littel noise so we do run it overnight. No smell at all. Super easy to use. I absolutly love it and so glad I got it. I am looking forward to runnning it overnight and having some dried goodness to add to the lawn flowers or verggies amazing. Only thing no seeds in it whcih is a minor minor thing. I hgihly recommend this one. It looks also great sleek design and so awesome to incorporate into my household. It is like a regular composter so no meat etc. to me that is all very normal since I know about composting. Having hte convieneice to do it overnight and have some dried material in the am to dispearse is a game changer no messy bins no turning etc. I love it

What an amazing tool! I have been a traditional composter for decades. Started out with a simple triple-bin design and graduated to spinning barrels about 20 years ago. I am an avid cook-from-scratch person, spending a lot of hours in my kitchen. Research on composting and appreciating the benefits as I grow organically in my vegetable garden, I came across this “magic” machine just recently.I have used it almost daily since my purchase and I am absolutely thrilled with the results. It couldn’t be simpler to operate, compact design allows it to be ready for use quickly and easily, clean up is a breeze and the smell (I know how smelly a collection bucket can get) is actually quite pleasant if you’re into a mild, natural outdoorsy fragrance. The odor is really only noticeable when emptying the finished compost. I really like the size as it allows for daily or every other day use. The quality of the machine appears to be quite good, even though I am no engineer. Instructions for use and care are clear and concise. No real learning curve here. The simplicity is terrific for anyone to use. Wish I had found it a lot sooner. Thanks so much for marketing this product.

Very impressive crush function which works quickly and can handle a lot of organic matter. Important to know that the product of crush function is not compost- it will make your soil moldy. However, I didn’t use the ferment function which is supposed to create compost (it takes significantly longer and needs more brown matter). Ours ended up leaking which I was told happened bc the filter needed changing. Unfortunately the change filter light did not come on to notify us. Customer service was very helpful when I reported the issue.

I've had this machine for about 3 months now and its been amazing! I use it literally every day. It fits a rather large amount inside but isn't that big of a machine so it isn't inconvenient on my counter. I keep it by the skin to scrape in leftovers off my plate. Helps me keep my refrigerator clean too because I'm always looking for extra food to fill her up so I can start it. Haha. I had one small issue with an error code not clearing and I emailed customer service. They got back to me quickly and their suggestion fixed the issue and the little guy is back at it again! This machine is soooo worth it!!!

I had high hopes for this based on the reviews. I have only had this for about 6 weeks. There must have been a hairline crack in the plastic on the lid. Didn’t notice it initially but after some use it became evident and now the composter will not function at all. I reached out to the customer service number multiple times over the past few days and it goes to a voicemail saying the person is on the phone. Numerous messages left without any follow up. Unable to find replacement parts on Amazon or even a website for the company. Very disappointed and this was an expensive machine for it to be unusable after 6 weeks. Buyers beware. I should have paid better attention to the fact that there isn’t any way to reach the company other than a phone that isn’t monitored by a person.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:It has great reviews and seemed small enough for my kitchen.I love to make compost and use it in my plants! My garden is way nicer this year and I think is the fact I can fertilize it with this compost. As well, I have less smelly trash and it feels good to re use it and not just throw it away!
