Lured in by the catchphrase of Healthy Nougat. But really it's delicious soft chewy nougat similar to that of Taiwanese Sugar and Spice brand nougat. It's soft, bends to the touch of by the warmth of the hand. Small flecks of nuts or dried fruit add flavor and balance to a nougat chew that is not too sweet. Satisfying in the moment but gets you to crave another bite. And then another. And then pretty soon you've consumed the whole bag in one sitting. And you doubt and question why you purchased "healthy nougat" in the first place. You knew you had no discipline. You knew in your heart there is no self restraint that can hold your appetite from the satisfying chew of healthy nougat. So you gave in. Bought the 3 pack. And ate all 3 packs in 3 days. Would I buy it again? Maybe. But not because it healthy.

These candies are lightly flavored—no overwhelming BANANA or STRAWBERRY—and very chewy although they become softer and easier to chew more quickly than you might expect. Usually I don’t care for some of these flavors but in this candy they taste great! We’ve also tried freezing them and this makes them brittle and refreshing especially in summer heat. We really like them. And, we ordered a variety pack of the newest peanut butter offerings and they’re different from the chewy ones—very light, crunchy and almost melt in your mouth. Once again, not a huge fan of peanut butter flavor in candy but these are an exception in that the flavor is mild and doesn’t overpower you. We’ve ordered them many times and are happy we discovered them.

Great move towards health & nutrition for the luxury of nougats, and with excellent taste. But it faces the same problem of many trying to make great nougats - it's way way too chewy!! Why is it so difficult to achieve the right consistency!?! Because of this problem, I really should have given it 3 stars but I value the move towards health. Plus, it's better to err on the chewy side than the hard-as-rock side. I was skeptical when the description said "Made in the USA" because I have tried nougats from all over the world, of many different types, and the only ones that seem to get it right are the Italians. The Brits made an excellent one by Callard & Bowser for decades until they sold the company to an American chocolate company. Please try and get the consistency right by examining the many Italian brands that do so. If you can accomplish that with your current taste and your healthy & nutritious formula, you would command a sizable portion of the world market and put the US on the nougat map. I'll work for free as your quality control taster. Great job. Keep it up and get even better.

Pros:- Less sugar than Cafe-Paris Fruit Nougats (I like these, too), so this nougat tastes nicer, and also creamier- Softer than Cafe-Paris nougatWhat I don't like:- Someone else mentioned the packaging is being the factor to get turned off. The issue is the nougat gets soft and molds with the plastic wrap, making it very frustrating to open! However, there is one solutionSolution:- Put these into your fridge, after 10 mins, you can open them without any problem as the nougat gets a bit harder! Now just wait for a few minutes at room temp, and voila, they taste great !

The nougat wasn't edible. It was hard as a rock A cement boulder would be easier to bite into,honestly. No one in my house, ages 12-64 yrs young, not one out of the four of us could bite into these! They never would melt in our mouths either. I honestly can say that my two Great Pyranise Dogs ,Jake 4 yrs old weight 189 pds and his son ,Scooby 2 yrs old 78 pds enjoyed them for about ten minutes .( For one each. New puppy treat ideas? Maybe ,but we trashed them.) Sad to say ,but I won't ever buy again from this company. First impressions on products ,especially food products ,are Everything to me and my family. Hope this encourages sellers to check what's up w/ products before you falsely advertise on Amazon about smooth chewable candies, right ? Good luck going forward -

These are delicious. I hated to give it only 3 stars but there's only a few in each bag that are soft enough to eat. The first bag I bought had just a few in the bag that were really hard. I ordered again and almost all are so hard that they are not enjoyable to eat. The few that were soft, we enjoyed.

I had to cut down on sugar and ALL caffeine (which cuts out chocolate and matcha as well) and these are the perfect treat. I love the texture and that they’re not too sweet. Strawberry is my favorite.

Great Asian nougat candy; it's a soft nougat and it's not so sweet, which I like a lot. Great flavor.Would buy it again.
