Fixed my issue but not straightforwardly
Like Gerald J Quick I had a Samsung RV511 which wouldn't update to Windows 10 because of the factory-fitted Broadcom wi-fi card (it took me a long time to figure out that it was the card causing the update issues...).Fitting the new Intel 7260 card was straightforward. The wi-fi worked straight away, however the bluetooth didn't. I tried everything I could think of from updating drivers to completely reinstalling Windows. Nothing worked. After much Googling I came across a fix to tape-up (i.e. disconnect) pin 51, also mentioned in a couple of reviews here (one in German). This fix worked for me, and I now have fully-functioning dual-band wi-fi and bluetooth. So I'm happy, but it wasn't completely plug and play. I think this probably has something to do with the age of the RV511, which was produced in 2011.It's worth mentioning that the Intel card is end-of-life, so it's no longer supported, and the drivers are therefore no longer updated. However, being more recent than the card that was fitted to the RV511, I'm quite content with using it.

Simple and effective way to upgrade your laptop wifi
The WiFi card in my old laptop would not support 5ghz AC connections to my internet router.Purchasing this i10Gb Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 card was a very cost effective way to speed up my connection to the internet without buying a new laptop.Very easy to install and setup. Before you attempt this kind of modification, make sure that you check the upgrade options for your laptop and confirm that the card is a suitable replacement.Would recommend this product as an upgrade for an Acer Aspire V3-772G.

Well impressed with improvement.
Was no longer able to get wifi when virgin upgraded to Super 4 router. This module not only fixed that but improved the speed sooo much. I was well impressed. Simple to swap over and plenty youtube videos if you're nervous about. This also added bluetooth to my laptop. To get it right, you'll need to download the driver from intel. Then just run the *exe file. This improved my laptop so impressively that I bought a second - exactly the same - for my daughter's laptop.

An easy upgrade for an old laptop
A simple and cost effective upgrade to an old laptop. Much faster WiFi, improved range and with Bluetooth too.

Works well
I bought intel AC 7260 for adding wifi and bluetooth to my old NUC DC3217IYE box. I have Fedora 30 on it. It was easy to install the card. Good quality. Worked straight away. both wifi and bluetooth works fine and it gives good range as well. I can listen to music over bluetooth anywhere within my house.

Plug and play replacement for Intel 7260 N (2.4Ghz only)
This was purchased as a replacement for the Intel 7260 N (2.4Ghz only) wireless card that came fitted to my Dell Inspiron 15 7000 (7537) laptop. It uses the same set of drivers as the 7260 N (as per the Intel support page) so was simply a matter of swapping them out, an easy job which involved removing a few screws and un-clipping the two antenna leads .There is a notable improvement in speed even on the 2.4 Ghz network but the 5 Ghz is fantastic and I can now take full advantage of the download speeds that I have been paying for. My laptop is always fairly close to my router so I cannot really comment on range. Please note the bluetooth driver did require updating via device manager before it would work, but downloaded and installed first time via the "search automatically for drivers" option without any issues.

Good upgrade from a single band. Attaching the antennae is fiddly, so do this first!
I needed to upgrade my old Centrino wireless n 2230 single-band wireless card, and this dual-band card is the perfect replacement. Attaching the card was easy enough - it slots into the motherboard, and is secured by a small screw (the screw wasn't provided - I re-used the one that was secured my old wireless card). Far fiddlier is attaching the 2 antennae wires to the card (again, the antennae aren't supplied; I simply re-used the ones already attached to the old card I was replacing). The antennae clip on - but they are very small, so this is quite tricky do to (probably tricky for all cards of this size, not just this particular model?) The easiest approach is to clip the antennae to the card first, then secure the card to the motherboard. After attaching the card, I downloaded the Intel Driver and Support Assistant, it scanned for the right driver, and the upgraded card works with no problems. Only had it a few days, so can't comment on durability.

Installed in Fujitsu Lifebook without any problems
Installed in Fujitsu Lifebook AH530 to replace the original Atheros card (no longer working, probably a Windows 10 compatibility problem). The card swap took 5 mins, then Driver Booster put in the latest driver from Intel in a few more mins. The card is working perfectly, on both frequencies. Couldn't have been easier, laptop wifi now restored.
