Very good value
Very good smoker and amazing price. Mine arrived with a German gas fitting and have had to buy a fitting suitable for patio gas / UK calor gas bottles.Took 20 minutes to assemble, fairly simple to understand the instructions. It does not have a lot of insulation and I have chosen to seal the chimney. Smoke now escapes from the door seal which is fine for me. My tip is to add boiling water from a kettle (to the water bath) to speed up getting to temperature.

Great smoker for the price.
I have been smoking now for a number of years both hot and cold, mainly trout but also baby back ribs and other meats,I have always found it difficult with a charcoal bbq to maintain the heat at the correct level, I have wanted a gas smoker for sometime but the cost has always put me off, seeing the El Fuego at a reasonable price I decided to try it, it came next day, was very easy to assemble, and today having seasoned it as instructed,I am very please with my purchase, I ran the smoker for about two hours, it used a minimum amount of wood chips to get a good smoke, at a very low gas consumption, indeed to achieve a temperature of around 250f it was almost as low as I could turn it and adjusted up or down very well, if you want to try smoking food start here, it’s very good value.

Saved Christmas
This thing saved Christmas after I stupidly volunteered to cook. Doesn’t feel the strongest, but it’s sturdy enough and a lot cheaper than other options. Make sure you get the right regulator adaptor so it gets full pressure,other than that it makes some amazing food.

Disappointed before we’ve even tried
This was a birthday present but disappointed before have even used. The packaging was damaged inside and out. There are finger prints and small dents all over the front. The screws had fallen out of their packaging and the control panel is all in German! Ve are not impressed this far.

Not fit for UK
It’s still sat in the garden unused , it comes with a German regulator which can not attach to uk bottles and you need to purchase a different size to regulator than normally used on bbq etc and also invest in a calor screw type bottle not the push on I’m still waiting as calor have stopped new contracts due to covid so shortage of bottles don’t buy one
