Alive & Radiant Kale Krunch, Chocolate, 2.2 Ounce

My Favorite snack ever!I used to Love the quite Cheezy but that has cashews. I have a lot of food intolerances and can't have nuts right now, only seeds! These are to die for with pumpkin seeds, organic cacao butter and powder. Sweetened with coconut palm sugar. The crunch is what makes it!They are dehydrated for hours to get the taste that's like no other and is so healthy

I'm a huge fan of Alive & Radiant brand Kale Krunch. As of now, this is the best brand of kale chips I've encountered: they don't have a bitter taste, and tend not to have a lot of crumbs. Shipping was done well and the very fragile chips arrived in good condition.I bought this flavor, Chokalet Chip, on a lark. I actually expected this to be cocoa powder dusted kale chips, which didn't strike me as terribly appetizing, but I figured that if they were going through the effort of making them, someone thought they were good enough for people to buy. What they actually taste like is closer to chocolate covered kale chips. Think chocolate, with a little kale thrown in for good measure. It's really more of a dessert than anything else.My biggest issue with this is the smell. When you open the bag, the chocolate-ish odor is... I'll be kind and say "not the most pleasant." But get them out of the bag, and actually in your mouth, and the impression is the complete opposite. So I tended to open the bag at arm's length, and let the chips air out first.I still think that the Kale Krunch, Cheezy Chipotle, 2.2 Oz Organic is my favorite flavor, but this one is worth a try for some novelty!

Not a good idea. I'm not even sure why I thought this would be good. Apposing flavors.Thats all Im saying.

This is not good... I like the other flavors but not the chocolate one. Why is this the only one you'll ship to Hawaii? Anyway, the flavor of kale and chocolate just doesn't work. Maybe if you're a vegan or something you'd like it.

I have no idea why I thought kale would taste good if covered in chocolate. Its bitter and pretty unpleasant as the aftertaste, but the texture is pleasant. If you like the taste of kale you'd probably love this. I just didn't. Quantity was decent.

If you like chocolate, this is a great snack! No refined sugar (just palm sugar), and the healthiness of kale. It's crunchy and delicious. I pretty much eat the whole bag at once... And the only reason that's a bad thing is because then I don't have any more to eat later. : )

One wouldn't expect bitter kale with chocolate to taste even mildly good, but Alive and Radiant is able to work their magic and create the most decadent, chocolatey treat with a seriously satisfying crunch. Unfortunately, they don't make this product anymore, but I hope that in the future they bring it back.

This stuff is crazily addictive. You don't get that much in one bag, but it is probably a good thing as one cannot stop eating it.
