Very entertaining.
What do you do when you are a person that is caught between two friends that loathe each other? You can do what Earl Sewell and Pat Tucker did and write a fabulous and entertaining book about it. I have to state emphatically that I enjoyed this book more than I thought I would. It was well written and clearly thought out. The characters of Ava, Sylvia and Bailey are very interesting because they are very different. Each is a strong black woman in her own right but each has dysfunctions and insecurities that only makes this book more compelling. Aside from the women, there is Jayden and Isaac, husbands of Sylvia and Ava that share a brotherhood by keeping secrets that could interfere in both marriages. The excellent character development of our players in this book is what really draws the reader into the story. I must say that when I began reading the book, I speechless by the true essence of all of the characters. Sylvia is not a shrinking violet by no means, Jayden is not boring or one-dimensional, Bailey is not worldly, sophisticated and mature, Isaac is not faithful, and Ava is not weak. This book was fast paced and flowed nicely from beginning to end. At times, it was funny, sexy, and heartwarming, but the conflict is what made this book unique in my opinion. I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to readers. My hope is that Earl Sewell and Pat Tucker come together to write a sequel to this book. Great job by Earl Sewell and Pat Tucker.

Loyalty Among Friends: A Novel (Zane Presents)
This was a realistic read. All of us have had a friend like Sylvia, Ava and Bailey or we know of people like that. With Bailey, I already figured out she had a mental breakdown before it was diagnosed. This book was a reminder of who your friends really are and to be aware and honest with your friends and yourself. If you are married be careful how much you tell your relationship to whether it's married or single friends. Also, don't be to quick to judge anyone because you never know the whole story.

Finally a book tells a story where both mail and female needs are told. Some lost and some one. Although I wish their had been a better ending for Bailey!

This book was a very good!!! Man men can be so stupid and women too!!! I wanted to knock some sense into Issac, Bailey and Jayden. And Sylvia and Ava learned their lesson the hard way!!! I highly recommend this book!!

The book was terrible. I only kept reading it because I paid over $10 for it. The book took too long to get to the point. It was a very slow read and it took me too long to read it because it didn't grab my interest to where I wanted to keep picking it up. The book just took to long to get to the point and after it got to the drama, it was over in like 3 chapters. It took like 27 chapters to get to the point. Very disappointed!
