Military Commemorative Challenge Coin - A Salute to Veterans and a Remembrance of Heroes. Gifts for Veterans Day and Memorial Day

I ordered this coin because I wanted to see how good the quality and engraving was; I am very impressed. As someone who has designed multiple unit coins and my own 'underground' deployment coins while in the service, this coin has excellent fit and finish and would stand out in my coin collection. There are no misspellings or other defects that I could see.The coin is advertised as a coin for Memorial day and Veterans day -- an etiquette rabbit hole, it isn't appropriate for a Veterans day gift. Veterans day celebrates those who served and came back, Memorial day mourns those who didn't. Not sure I be gifting it on Memorial Day, but it serves as a personal reminder for me.I'm glad I got this coin. I sat on my back porch and reminisced about service members I had lost along the way.

I just love coins. Anything Fire or Military related, I want it, lol. This is a very nice coin. It runs in your typical challenge coin dimensions and weight. Comes in a nice hard plastic case to protect it.

I collect challenge coins and this is one of the nicest I've added to my collection. It is very colorful, with a picture full of meaning and words stating how all should feel in regards to our military past and present.The words are sharp and clear, the coin has a nice weight size and comes encased in a plastic holder. Recommended.

This is a really nice commemorative coin. The engraving is really good and the coloring is also great. It has a nice weight to it. Has a good hard plastic protector.

The blue-hued tinting on the obverse is tastefully done. The 3-D effect is very good. The edge is not reeded and the reverse has a bronze-like color. The text on the reverse is taken from the poem "For the Fallen" by Laurence Binyon in 1914. It comes in a nice thick clear plastic case.
